The numbers are fabulous, sounds like you have a great car that gives both josh and FE. Given your speeds from 120 KMPH to 160 KMPH and A/C was on, this has got to be an awsome piece.

I usually get around 13.5 - 14 in my Honda City Vtec(ZX) in City with AC , and on the highway the last time i got was 17 ( Delhi - Dehradun)

The Worst I got was a 9 ( Revved High That time - All Throughout , because i was checking the worst fuel efficinecy


In My OHC VTEC , I usually get 9-10 In the City and 12 on the Highway!

After office moved to ORR, am getting 16.4+ kmpl, highway anyway between 21 to 24.3 kmpl.
And I go through the Silk board-BTM most of the these days.

Before that blr city was around 14.81 to flat 16 kmpl.

Fuel: Shell normal petrol. It's been around 16 for almost a year+ now in bangy.

Hi,this is my debut post on team bhp.
My 2003 santro xing gives 15km/l in city with ac on 60% of the time.
And on the highway,surprisingly there is not much improvement 16km/l with 50% ac.

I own a one month old Santro Erlx, The car just completed its 1300K and first service and now i think i can go a bit faster than before. Can anyone suggest me on what the ideal speed that i need to drive to get better FE. Now it giving me around 12 KMPL in City and 16 KMPL in highway with AC. Is this a good one?

New Wagon R Lxi..< 6 months with an app usage of <10 kms every day between home and office in normal traffic conditions..100% AC on..a bit erratic as far as speed is concerned.

Gives me only 11 kmpl..completed only close to 4000 kms..what do you reckon?

getting 10.5kmpl with a/c on in city driving. FE seems to have dropped by 1 to 1.5 kmpl. I suspect the timing needs to be retarded a bit. Btw, my ride is an esteem mpfi. Got a K&N OE air filter, and a 4x1 race spec header with a SS end can.

Highway without a/c 18.2km/l after delivery fm Hyderabad to Tirupathi 580km full to full tank for 32ltrs
with a/c it gives around 15.6 -16 km/l
thrice I have checked, it gives the same
