How I wish you were located in Delhi. Was looking at used car market prices for Cruze since last 10 days in Delhi. Your car would fetch you around 8-8.5L for LT model and slightly more for the LTZ and AT accordingly. Mind you these are prices prevalent in Delhi currently.

This car is in very good condition. But owner is not budging from 5.5L
2) Punto Emotion Nov 2010 - 30000kms - 5L
This car is also good. Same owner types.

3) Beat Diesel LS July 2011 - 15000kms - 4.4L
4) Beat Diesel LT July 2011 - 20000kms - 4.75L
5) Punto Emotion Nov 2009 - 40000kms - 4.25L
6) Punto Active Diesel Nov 2011 - 25000kms - 5L

Owners of punto are not negotiating even to leave 20-25K. Bangalore has become really hard. Crazy used car prices in Bangalore.
Just checked new car price. I can get Punto Dynamic 1.3 for 7.2L.

Presume its Diesel - if the car is in very good condition and tyres replaced recently, you can try to close the deal at 4.5lakhs. I have taken about 60% depreciation for a 6 yr old diesel car which was not a hot seller and is no longer in production. also Hyd prices are normally higher

Mine is the LTZ AT but the money that you have said is really low. I am expecting something in the range of 11,00,000. Hope to get someone soon. I am planning to upgrade to XUV for my outstation drives.

That was the price prevalent in Delhi. Mumbai market might fetch you a little extra. Infact member sameer was telling me of this Cruze LTZ AT 2011 model with 40k kms having been sold for 8.4L in Delhi just last month. What is the price you are getting in Mumbai?

Any advice on how much should I be prepared if I want to go for Ford Ikon TDCI after 40000kms. Probably, tire/battery/brake pads etc.
I heard that Ford will have more service costs after 40-45000kms.

I will simply advise to go with Nov 2011 Punto Emotion with just 13,000 kms on ODO for Rs. 5.5 lacs. Reason - it is a very well maintained car & 13,000 kms on a diesel car is as good as new one.

This might not be the right thread but I have a complicated question. I was given a call by Tata Motors and they offered a 1,60,000 discount on a 2012 Safari GX . So here is the calculation:

1)OTR Price in Delhi = 13,75,308
2)Discount = 1,60,000
3)Net Price = 12,15,308

I plan to nail him down by another 15k and have the OTR price of 12L.

So here are the questions :

1)Is it wise to buy a 2012 model car which has been sitting idle for almost 13 months ?I confirmed with the SA the VIN number and it is a June 2012 as informed.
2)They are offering 2 lacs for my 2008 model Hyundai Accent CNG. The car has done 53k but has new alloys and boots. Mechanically is great , Cosmetically it is 7/10. Is it a fair price ?

I am confused as the XUV and Scorpio also have discounts going on (Not as huge as Tata) for their 2013 model cars.

Any suggestions?

Hello guys,
What should be the fair price of 2002 Zen vxi with 51k on the odo. The current owner is the second owner of the car and is selling due to lack of parking space. He says that I can check the service records with MASS so i guess the odo reading is genuine. Since it's a Vxi model, the car is equipped with power steering and front power windows. The battery and front two tyres are 9 months old and the rear tyres are completely bald. Owner is quoting 1 lakh and has refused to negotiate. Car is Jaipur registered and will be purchased and used in Jaipur only.
