and finally what should i go for?
Hey,

One thing put any brand but Garware. A good film will cost approx 1750-2250(Filmpro, 3M, Llumaar) all in the same range. Which part of town are you located in. What you should go for all depends on you finally I've given you options. Front Glass alone will cost you 2.5k upwards depending on the brand and quality.

Not sure if it is the same across the country but in Bangalore it is minimum 70% visibility for the front and back wind shields, for the windows it is a minimum of 50% visibility.

If you need more than that, you have to take special permission from cops.

I got Llumar clear film (not sure what the number was, but it was recommended by the guy as the best that he had) for 4.5k for my Optra front windshield.

Pretty good. Cuts down big time on the heat and supposedly blocks 90% UV.
