J.Ravi, Good to know that Jopasu has changed their courier folks. As I mentioned, I didnt face any problems with Jopasu delivery that i took receipt of during the times when this thread initiated. Later I saw delivery related concerns from people that was pulling me towards resorting to local delivery.

Ordered the Jopasu duster and mop on ebay today. Spoke to Jopasu and they suggested ebay as the best way of ordering. Company reverted later in the day to say that they had recieved the order and would courier the goods tomorrow.

Ordered Delivered

After reading this thread I too ordered a Jopasu carduster on 7 May 2010. The order was placed through e-bay for Rs 545 (total) and today (10 May) at 11.30 I received the shipment. DTDC was the courier. In fact, the SMS I received acknowledged the shipment also received today and it stated that the courier will deliver the product by 20 May!

Ebay Paisapay claims that the delivery should take place before 14 May and if is not done, they will refund the amount.

All iz well.

Just received my Jopasu Car Duster.

Ordered on 18 May 2010 and delivered on 21 May 2010. WOW! That was quite fast.

Nice packaging and a demo CD included.

Cheers!

I bought the Jopasu kit at the Bangalore Auto Expo and the product is excellent and i highly recommend it.

For 750 something Rupees, I got the magic duster (the one with the handle and the one for the bike or dashboard-glove type), microfiber cloth (and also the glove).

4 items for this amount was a good deal i guess. Very happy with the product.

Are Jopasu carduster's available in any shop in Bangalore. Checked in 2 shops in JC road. They seem to have never heard of this duster.

I am planning to buy this in Bangalore and the number provided by neutralgrey is not working. Can someone point me to the right number?

If there are 2-3 other people who are interested in buying this complete kit, we can bundle it together and pick this up together.

The product is very good till the first wash. After the first wash, the duster strands loses the dust picking capability, but still better than the multicolour ones we get in traffic signals. I washed the duster with normal cold water in a tub.

Hi myavu,

Wanted to check with you, were you referring to this link in ebay->
eBay India: Jopasu Car Duster (item 110537788255 end time 24-Jun-2010 11:18:02 IST) ?

There is no mention of any CD in this link. Also, is it possible to wipe the hood of the car with this brush?

Thanks and Regards,
Narayanan

CD is not available only with a duster. CD comes if you buy the kit: duster, MF towel and a free shampoo+wax + the CD

The CD is within that red pouch.

You can wipe any part of the car. I am doing it on a daily basis.

My experience is different then. Mine is washed thrice already, so far I dont find any difference. If you soak it in soap water for long time, may be that will take away its coating. I did a straight hand wash with a mild soap and it was dried for 2 hours in the sun.

Another option to regain the coating would be: Wash the duster and dry it. Same time wash your car, dry it and give a coating of carwax. Now do the final polishing with your Jopasu duster. The strands will accumulate an equal amount of carwax that will act as the original coating when it was new. Its not read or seen anywhere, its my personal experiment.

Jopasu can do magic on a car thats waxed once a while. It not only gives a perfect shining, but also avoids any possible scratches through dusting.
