chances are very less, but who know some one may come forward to you!
I had been to the auto expo as well. There was no difference in price, neither were they giving any freebies. Buying it from ebay would involve shipping of 90Rs. Since he bought it using one of the ebay vouchers, he was able to get a 10% reduction in total price. So what will essentially cost you 795, you get at almost cost price.

I will ask him to post it in the classifieds section.

I came across Jopasu car duster from T-Bhp only. I have a black car and lot of dust accrues in a small period of time.

From what i read from the given posts about the jopasu dusters, i feel they are VFM and may be of good use to me & help me in keeping my black car dust free.

Is e-bay the only way of getting a jopasu duster ? will the local car decor shops not deal with them ? that way we can have a look at the duster before ordering the same.

I have been using it since 20 days, its a nice product. Every morning just takes 5 to 7 mins to clean the car with it. Without it in the last 20 days probably I would have had to wash my car 3 to 4 times. Atleast that has come down now. So I can clean my car with water when ever I have time. I dont regret buying it.
I have seen how those car cleaning guys clean cars in apartments, using same bucket of water for multiple cars and cleaning with the same dirty cloth. So Jopasu Duster is better any day.

Can we use it on a wet surface?, or only on dry surface?

I have been using this product for the last 4 years. I must say it really suits my needs. No more car washing every day! It just absorbes all the dust! A very good & long lasting product!

It can only be used on dry surfaces. It will get damaged if used on wet surfaces.

Rajesh,

Auto EXPO 2010 Bangalore had a stall, I got it from there. You missed it.

Yes, EBAY is the only option, I remember in this thread there was one available with fellow T-BHPIAN from Bangalore. Just have a look and contact him.

And Jo Arrives !

Hooray...!
Received my Jopasu car care combo pack through a company Sales Ex a few moments
ago.
First tried the normal route of going to the website and contacting the contact
person mentioned there - I was informed that someone would contact me from the
local office in a days time etc. Predictably no one did...
Devdath in Blr and others had purchased this in the Bangalore Expo some
days ago and had given me the number of its owner - Mr. Anand P, who is also an auto
enthusiast etc.
Called him up in Pune yesterday and spoke for sometime and few minutes later he
got back to me asking me to SMS my address which I did...and a company rep
landed up at home and delivered the pack in the comfort of home without having
to step out or wait for the package to arrive with bated breath after paying for
it online etc !
The pack consists of:
1. A long handled duster - for exteriors.
2. Mini duster - for dashboard etc.
3. Magic glove - for glass surfaces.
4. Magic wipe - wash n wipe cloth for exteriors.
5. Free bottle of shampoo and wax worth 180 bucks.
6. Product CD.
All the above items with durable plastic pouches.
Individual items would have cost totally Rs.1355.
The combo pack MRP is Rs.1175 with incl. VAT. Got a 10% discount - no home
delivery charges and paid in all Rs. 1058.
They are a Pune based company - Owner-Director Mr. Anand Panchbhai can be contacted
on 09822197619 for help/enquiries on the product/availability anywhere in India.
And the Mumbai based folks can contact the Sales Exec here - Mr.Hemant Pathak on
9594345554.

Have been looking for a product of this kind for sometime as Guderian, my beast, does get
dusty at times and the days my GDW doesn't turn up can be a real pain as the
duster I now have ( purchased from a traffic light waif ) is a... pain !

Thanks Devdath for the product tip off and the contact info.

And I thought, for sure, that Jopasu stood for JOginder Singh, PArvinder Singh
and SUkhwinder Singh -nope was wrong, stands (I guess) for...M/S JOgdand Ajay,
PAnchbhai Anand - not sure who SU is...may be SUkhwinder took off !
Shall be trying out the products tomorrow !

Well tried out the duster this morning...just before the GDW turned up and Guderian, my beast, was sparkling by the time he landed up ! Took just a couple of minutes. And when he went around the beast he was scratching his head and wondering. What puzzled him most was, I guess, no blotches of water around. And then, possibly, a cold hand gripped his heart, thinking whether I had appointed some other GDW ! I put him out of his misery with a single shot and told him - "Naya safai ka samaan laya hoon" and that whenever he wouldn't turn up it would be deployed. A wave of relief crossed his face and also a wave of thoughts as he pondered about his indispensibility !
So as of now - a good product !

I have used a Dry car wash service provided at homes thor a Mobile van , recently introduced in jaipur . Great results !
Very reasonably priced at around rs. 299 for exterior wash .provides wash ,polish , paint protection as well !!
Hard to believe when compared to 3 M service available at around Rs. 1200

+
branded products always cost more (plus taxes etc), whereas local prodcuts which are marketed/supplied at door steps by local guys normally cost less and sometime it works better than the branded prodcuts.
