Re: Auto Lighting thread : Post all queries about automobile lighting here

There are a couple of DRL advertisements in our classifieds. The one from Gurgaon seem reasonable enough to be tried out. Anyone used them as yet? Any feedback?

Are there any indian online shops where i can pick up a pair?
I called AK Traders in B'lore today, the same place from where I picked up a set of Xtreme Power bulbs back in Aug 2008, he informed me that Philips has stopped manufacturing this product and its equivalent is the Xtreme Vision which costs Rs. 900 for a pair.

Cheers,

- Too much heating. After 30mins drive I couldnt touch and hold in the headlamp for more than 3-4 seconds. I am bit worried here.

I bought the whole kit (hella relay, wiring kit with ceramic holder + philips rally bulbs) for Rs.880/- (550+330) and spent Rs.100/- for installation. Not sure if the relay and wiring kit are original. This shop is listed in the hella website and he assured me that it is original.
Bro, From where did you buy those lamps. Which shop ?

Any alternatives to either Osram and Philips 60/55w lights? I got a Osram pair free and I hardly see any difference compared to the OE.
