Hello All,

I got a call from the dealership that the bike is arriving tonight and delivery can be taken from tomorrow. Mine is Astral Blue. Is there a minimum checklist (PDI) that could be guideline? Please let me know.

Guess that the colour is either Interstellar Green or Grey or Astral black? I think these are the colours RE have in stock. Others have to wait.

TBH, Even I have never thought much into the PDI of 2 wheelers, any input or link to bhp forum thread would be really helpful. I am expecting the delivery early next week.

The Acclaim motors showroom is Yelahanka has this colour on display. I went there and checked it out. It didn't look so great, may be due to the lighting inside the showroom.

Hey mate, Could you share some light on the accessories that you've ordered and received? Was they available at the time of delivery or you got the bike at the stock state?

Yes. The astral black machine was head turner and I didn't like the interstellar green colour combo in flesh despite being the one most photographed.But the demo SM's inside the showroom lighting shows a grey tint and thats the reason many dislike it.

I actively asked the showroom to do the accessories later as there is a delay. I've ordered a sump guard, an oil filler cap for now and I'm considering the touring seat, engine guard and windscreen. Reason being I would like to physically see the parts before they're put on the bike. For the seat I'm also considering aftermarket options as I would like a single seat as I prefer riding solo.

My dealer informed on Friday that they have received a batch of SM650 accessories and are yet to unbox them. I have emailed RE Customer Support on my requirements of accessories as well. I will need the engine guard at least to take the vehicle out of the showroom
