Make sure you do a thorough PDI. Request your colleague/friend to come along. Fresh set of eyes help
All the best.
Thanks C300. That's what I totally intend to do. I have already asked my friend to come along and will give him a list of pdi as well so we both double check everything.

They suggested that i take RXZ-AWD in amazon green, get the 50k discount and opt for the front armour accessory for 10-12 k extra. Yet to decide.

Waiting for your pics.
Thanks. I personally didn't find much difference between rxz and adventure series. A bit of change in aesthetics but I find rxz with discount a better deal. All the best for your booking do keep us posted.

Is there any such plans? If so, why will they spend so much on developing AMT for Duster and then launch Dual clutch? If they really do it, it'll be great though

True. However, the feeling of exclusivity/limited edition, plus the additional armor gaurd/fog lamps, seat covers, the renault smart drive app is tilting me towards Adventure edition. Heart over mind maybe?

Re: 2016 Renault Duster Facelift & AMT (Automatic) : Official Review

will be booking a RXl in silver in the next couple of days.
Currently trying to process all the documents for the loan. would be paying downpayment of 5L and taking the rest as a loan from SBI.

I am being offered a RXL at 12.45 on road including registration and seat covers plus rear view camera in Vishakhapatnam.

Is this a good deal?

Oh and btw just cancelled the booking for Scross zeta last week after some issues with NEXA.

From the website, it looks like:

RXL AMT -
1. Price benefit of 60k (AMT at the price of Manual) + Gift Cheque of 60k
2. Accessories worth 5k
3. Possibility of 100% on-road funding

RXZ AMT -
1. Price benefit of 60k (AMT at the price of Manual) + Gift Cheque of 20k - Just like last month
2. Accessories worth 5k
3. Possibility of 100% on-road funding

Some dealers are known to throw-in some additional cash discount/ freebies from their end. Keeping in mind that there is a possible upgrade to Duster coming-in soon(probably Jan-Mar, 2017), I am guessing this is going to be the best offer month for Duster.

So I am finally submitting the loan document for approval tomorrow after I got the final Performa invoice for my RXZ AWD today. Total cash discount of ₹80K plus accessories worth around ₹18500. It's costing me ₹1465062 OTR. Will keep everyone posted.

Re: 2016 Renault Duster Facelift & AMT (Automatic) : Official Review

What's the cash discount on manual variants now? Not very clear from their website.
Looks like Renault is busy clearing AMT stocks. Specially RXL AMT

I guess, whatever I mentioned for RXZ AMT above applies to all/ any other variants of Duster except for RXL AMT.

Thats excellent! Here OTR quoted is 17.2. With 80k discount, it'll still be 16.4. So much difference?

Ex Showroom 13.84
RTO 2.61 L here.

Can you give a break up please?

Re: 2016 Renault Duster Facelift & AMT (Automatic) : Official Review

Good to see Renault now offering huge discounts on AMT Variants to clear old stocks. When we bought 2 cars from a dealer in Bangalore 3 months back, they were acting like dealers of some luxury cars. The resale value of a Duster is already pathetic and this kind of massive discount further impacts the value in used car market.Atleast now Renault should realize the importance of customer feedback and update its products. The going may be tough for them in 2017 if they do not change their attitude.
