Nothing Yet, No SMS, No Calls

I did not get any Email or SMS confirmation. Now, i was able to go through the Website. But, Both "My Bookings" and "My Cart" is Empty.

Not Understanding what's Happening at all.
I faced same issue but after 10 mins booking started showing again! Seems their website is not load tested

I haven't received any mail/SMS, but the booking is reflecting under the "My Bookings" tab after logging-in to the account on the website.

Called the dealer to confirm the same. Got the following response: "We haven't received your booking yet, maybe it will reflect in our system tomorrow and then we will confirm with you. KYC and further process will be done after 10th October once we receive go-ahead from Mahindra."

I have sent a screenshot of the booking confirmation which includes Booking Reference ID to the SA. They don't even have the courtesy to acknowledge or call you themselves.

So basically, even after a successful online booking after pulling out about a million hair, I am not sure whether my booking would be honoured or not, within the lot of 25,000 bookings. ZERO CLARITY! Perplexed.

Seeing that they have delivered close to only 29K Thar even after a year of launch, the first 25K itself will only get cars by mid of next year, not sure why even bother with new bookings till they can get the current bookings sorted.

Only upside, atleast the first 25K get price protection.

Not entirely confident till I see a reference number. Fingers crossed!
Yes same here. Received an email from Mahindra with the dealers name and variant details.

Booked AX7 L Diesel AT AWD, fingers crossed on delivery timeline.

Finally got a SMS confirmation from Mahindra but doesn't have any booking reference Id nor the variant and powertrain mentioned.
Also when logged into the link provided from SMS it shows "No Bookings Found".
Hope this gets updated today or we shall wait until 10th Oct for Mahindra to confirm and provide details on expected delivery timelines.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

People who have got an update from their sales contact in showroom, that the booking is done and submitted already, do wait the day and see if you're getting an SMS.

I was told my booking was submitted into the system and will be a part of the pricing for first 25,000 customers. Not receiving any SMS or email, I discounted a part of the confirmation as sales person talk. But he did say there will be some server delay from Mahindra Auto, but I will get the booking confirmation. And that booking portal closed for dealerships after 55 minutes (once 25,000 bookings got registered with Mahindra Auto).

And I did receive the SMS, a good 92 minutes after the booking window closed. So keep hope and good luck (if you need it).

And that may not be a problem for some customers. I felt the pricing of the top end variant was already in excess by some, so was absolutely sure I don't want to pay more for the car. So I secured a booking, but I don't need the vehicle urgently. It's fine if I get a delivery in December 2021 or Jan 2022 even (all the better).

But yes, the 'flash sale' like a mobile phone or laptop, definitely crazy for me.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Frankly wasn't expecting 25k bookings under an hour!! Really impressive. Kudos to Mahindra

It would be interesting to see the revised prices tomorrow. Guess there won't be any major increase atleast for the top end variants but yeah seeing this kind of interest from people, I won't be surprised if they do jack up the prices across all variants.

Have decided to wait for the next edition of XUV 7oo, after failing to book in the initial 25k lot.

Might as well wait and buy a niggle free product, as new prices would be applicable for tomorrow's bookings.

Also after seeing today's response, expect Mahindra to jake up prices by around 5-10% for the next lot.

Did the SMS include a reference ID?

I too got a email but doesn't have any reference number associated with it.

But the dealer says my booking is done and its under 25k, Also I don't see anything in the portal as well under my bookings.

Received an SMS congratulating me on the booking but when I click on the link to track the booking details, it says 'no booking found'.

You never know and that looks like a possibility, but I think they might continue it for some months.
