I checked with the service center, they said it's a very normal behaviour and denied to address the issue but also agreed that it is present in other XUV700s. I tried my friends' XUV, the shake is present, both in manual and ATs. No solution so far.

Re: Mahindra Thar : Official Review

I have AX5 Diesel Automatic and noticed strong diesel smell for few seconds inside cabin while standing still in Rain couple of times at least.
When this happened first time, it was in a traffic jam and I opened windows to clear it off.
Second time, this happened on a Red light, I turned on AC and set blower on full speed.
Luckily, it went away completely on both occasions.

I hope this is not something which turns into a serious issue later on.

Please open the bonnet while the engine is running and check if there is any fuel line leakage. Sometimes the rubber hose might develop a crack.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

I am seeing “No bookings found” since today morning on the Mahindra status portal.
I have booked AX7L D AT Red Rage with two different dealers. It’s showing up as “No bookings found” for both the bookings. Booked both in March ‘22.
It was showing as Order under planning until yesterday.
Anyone else seeing this issue?

For Pharaoh Mats please contact Akshay at 9945131419. I got them two weeks back from them for my XUV700 midnight black, they are the best floor mats, I have used Kagu for my XUV500. Thanks

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

I had ordered the sunshades and luggage cover for my P AX5 AT from m2all. Must say I was very disappointed with what was delivered given the price they charged.

The sunshades are flimsy and need one to stick magnets with double side tape (sounds like a bad idea!).

The luggage cover is seriously such a big let down, it’s at best worth ₹2,000 not the price M&M are charging. It neither covers the boot completely, neither does it become rigid to act as a parcel tray. Neither do the materials or finish feel upto the mark. Big big let down. Will be happy to get a luggage tray if any 3rd party is making one.

Attaching pictures of the luggage cover for anyone looking to get it.

Also - M2All service could have been much better - they spam called me at least 3 times a day till I made my purchase. Offered no discount or faster delivery options and over and above took well over 15 days to deliver the products as against the 10 days they claim. On the whole very disappointing experience.

How much did they cost, Sudhir?

Also, Hot Tracks, Bangalore, said Kagu mats are available for the XUV700 but with a waiting time of 1-2 months (maybe even 3!).

Hi, is the luggage cover able to cover the entire boot area?

I always thought it was designed for 7 seater variants. I have AX5 P AT 5 seater too and really looking for an option to cover the exposed huge boot area.

It's designed for the 5 seater version as the 7 seater version doesn't have a mount for a boot cover (to the best of my memory)... Even the pictures on m2all show the 5 seater, not the 7 seater.

This cover leaves the last 3-4 inches uncovered as well as the first 3-4 inches uncovered. Better than leaving it fully exposed, but not even half as good as it should be given the heft price tag of 14,000.

I'm facing this issue since yesterday. Spoke to my SA who confirmed it has impacted multiple customers and should rectified in next 1-2 days.

Okay, thanks.
One last bit, were you able to fit it yourself, or had to go to the service centre for installation.
