Congrats, I've always heard toyota being too greedy in India; that's the first they rolled back the hike for a customer.

If you dont mind me asking, who did you contact on Toyota's side? I am not concerned about pricing, im more concerned about delivery. If you could share the details over pm, that would be great.

Available for VX vehicle.

All features are available. But the response is very pathetic.
We have remote services like Start, Lock Door, Hazard Lights etc.
These never worked for me as the network connectivity of the vehicle is not good.

Also it will show all Vehicle Statuses like If the doors are closed , range odometer , fuel status etc.

It would have been great if these data are real time and properly updated.
The data is always stale . It mostly shows one day old data.

Best feature for me which worked is the provision to book service appointment.

Please share whom all you contacted. I have also booked before official launch and I haven't even gotten an estimated date for delivery yet despite the dealership assuring me that I am the first in line.

For me nothing is working with the Toyota iConnect app. It times out very soon. Nothing is shown on the odometer and even my Extended Warranty is not shown on the application. My Hycross VX 7 seater is shown in the application as an added vehicle but none of the features work !

Bought VX 8 Seater. before escalation no one was giving enough importance, but after the complaint everyone got into action

I saw a Hycross with side step installed at a dealer. It was not a genuine accessory.

I climbed and jumped on it a little and it seemed to be very strong. It looks like a fortuner side step but I am not sure if it really is.

The dealer casually mentioned 17,000 for it but I didn't show any interest and the conversation ended.

I would recommend that side for you. The main drawback would be lower ground clearance and that it protrudes outside the body sideline.

Today I visited Ravindu Toyota for 1st service. Fog lamps were in stock. Got fog lamps and DVR.

Fog lamps:
A new switch was installed for fog lamps next to level adjustment switch. I have attached pics showing light throw of fog lamp.

DVR:
DVR seems to be made by a OEM supply company called NSV Auto (Dubai HQ www.nsvauto.com , India https://nsvindiaauto.com/). It has parking incident recording as well. Comes with 32GB SD card.
