| Distinguished - BHPian | Many years back I was active on a couple of online clubs run by Indiatimes (Awini hould remember). A gentleman there had posted this picture of his fathers 1966 Beetle. If I remember correctly, it was single owner, personal import, original paint (in this picture, he mentioned he repainted it later in the original Ruby Red shade). After his father passed away it was offered for sale. No idea what happened to it then. A really well preserved original car.  |

| We have had 3 beetles of diffrent times. The pictures of the two are being posted here as I haven't seen them for ages now Out first beetle was probably a early 1970's model 1300 RHD bearing reg MRJ2293. Was picked up by someone in Bangalore in 1985 or so.  and the second beetle being a original TR car also a 1300 but LHD bearing reg no MEO 933 breen was brought by some one in Bangalore in 1986.  The third was a wonderful green 1303 super beetle LHD ( if I remember right it was a 1975 or 1976 model it was originally a orange and KRK 4746) was repainted to green by the previous owner to green and we registered it to Mysore, now seen running in Blore has a CRM registration. If any of you have seen the first two beetle's let me known. -Sathya |
