Thanks buddy. You're right. I meant motocross and most stocks seem sold out.

I've mostly locked in on a Scorpion VX 16 (Rok Replica) but awaiting the size to come in the next shipment.

Wanted one look at Airoh too before I pull the trigger on the Scorpion. This is something I'm looking for in the Rs. 15k +/- range, not more. My Schuberth C4 Pro is now the go-to primary helmet for road rides and mild off-roading. This will serve more as a rough use back up specially if I go to rougher areas / riding in monsoons etc.

Look at the new 3.5 leatt as well, just a tad more than 15 but brand new stock and launch

Let me know what you think about it with some close up snaps, am in same boat as you are and now have my eyes on the leatt. I think it’s step up from the scorpion.

Re: The Riding Gear thread

I went to a store and tried the Scott on and felt it to be too bobble headed for my head. I don’t know how many shell sizes they run, and there are hardly any reviews online for their helmet. I decided to stay away. The inside also felt uncomfortable and scratchy. Just a personal thing.

Congratulations!
Is that a Diavel? Have you done any treatment on the helmet (polish/coating)?

Re: The Riding Gear thread

After a lot of research into available options at a decent price point, ended up picking the Caberg Tourmax to complement my noisy Bell and ageing LS2. Hope it turns out to be a good one. Fingers crossed.

Lovely helmet, how did you manage to source it? From abroad or an Indian retailer?

Thank you Neil
I sourced it from Malaysia. The authorised Arai dealer had 2 pieces in stock.

This ceramic coating on the helmet. Does it affect the shell integrity in any way?
