Please avoid NICE this week , still the agitation is ON . You can offcourse check when you come on hosur road on the 14th .

Alternate Route : silk board > BTM > Banashankari complex > outer ring road > Mysore road .

as of now, only tumkur road to mysore road stretch is open.

NICE road is closed indefinitely , just called the control room . Hosur road to Mysore is closed .

NICE road will be closed until the agitation by the farmers is stopped. This is covered in all the local news channel.So it will take time for resolving the issue as the current govt and the farmers are involved.

Further proves that there is no law and order here. Just take a bunch of people, and do whatever you want to do. Burn cars, close down shops, sit down and block roads, basically, make life hell for the average joe.

Yes, anyone can do anything to make others life hell.
Last time (begining of December 2009), I was driving to Bangalore.
We reached at srirangapatna around 1pm and in one of the junction there was some agitation (seems some local party or the farmers). They were only about 20 in numbers but more cops were there. Still they could block the total highway and sideroads for 30minutes (you can just imagine what could be the traffic there in this 30minutes stoppage). who bothers other mans problems?

Happens dude. This happens in all the places and not only in bangalore/karnataka. Only thing is people are venting out their frustration as this has become an integral part IMO

The whole stretch from electronic city to Mysore is Open since 3 days , safe motoring .

I have not used NICE road for some time now.. though went to Mysore last month but used the alternet road through E-City to Banerghatta road then used NICE. Can some one tell me if the Electronic City to Banerghatta streach is complete near Gottigere Lake?

I think the road is blocked for 1 hour everyday, not completely. The agitators have said they will block it completely if things dont go their way. But Magadi Road to Tumkur road is blocked, dont know why NICE has done that.

I want to go to Tamarind Tree located on Amruth Nagar Main Road off Kanakapura Road. Is there an exit to Amruth Nagar Main Road from NICE Road? If the exit exists, then I will take NICE road. Otherwise, I will have to take IRR. Could anybody guide me, please?

I don't think there's an exit to Amruth Nagar Rd while travelling from BG rd to Kanakpura rd - I haven't seen one.
