I think that's what @landcruiser123 is saying too.

On social media, some people like Shoaib Akthar are making it seem like a case of unsporting attitude by South Africa when in reality it was a good and fair run out!

Re: The Cricket Thread

Oh Yes NPV. I was actually agreeing to @Landcruiser123.

I was surprised that people took to it on Twitter trying to say that Fakhar got cheated, which isn’t the case actually. I missed mentioning the twitterati reference in my post and therefore, my post looks like I was having an opinion different from @landcruiser’s.

Re: The Cricket Thread

I saw the video just now. It is a clear case of deception from De Kock although there can be alternate explanations from him upon enquiry. If one watches the full video Fakhar (left handed batsman) has hit the ball to long off. De Kock actually shows his hand towards long on side of the left handed batsman.

Fakhar could've made a well deserved double century. But why is that most times Pakistani batsmen are at receiving end when it comes to run outs? This brings me memory of that run out of Azhar Ali taking for granted ball has reached boundary.

Who receives instruction from the keeper? Batsman or Fielders?

Re: The Cricket Thread

Shouldn't this be considered under fake fielding rule?

Re: The Cricket Thread

Silly rule in first place I think - already too much in favour of the batsman.
Applying the same logic bowling slower one is also deception to the batsman

Have to agree with you guys.

The guy is so deprived.

He might be 100 different things on the field, but he is the one who has taken Indian cricket on a different level when it comes to fitness.

Surprised that Jadeja is not in the A+ category among the contracted players.

BCCI claims he missed the cut due to recent injury problems. Strange.

Re: The Cricket Thread

No genuine swing bowlers in the squad! Deepak Chahar & Bhuvi should have been there.
