Yes in JC Road there are many dealers selling the new JK tyres for 1200-1300 , they buy from the ppl some where btw 900-1100 easily .
Hi Joe - How much did u pay for your yoko es100 195 60 r15 ? |
i got it for 3.9k i guess!
I was just wondering, if I wanted to fit 195/60 R15 tyres, are there any steel rims available in this size for the swift ? I know alloys are in plenty.
The Fusion has 195/60 R15 tyres, would this rim fit on the swift? Any other OE steel rim that would fit on the swift ?

Fusion has a 108 PCD.
Swift has a 100 PCD. You could use the steel rims from the toyota corolla.
Thanks Nitrous.
Would you know the specs of the corolla rims ? 6 or 6.5 J? I understand 6.5 is preferable for 195/60 R15.
Hey Gurus. Getting 15" lenso alloys this week.
What would be the ideal size ? 185/195 ? Also i don't want scrape the wheel wells with full load. as i do carry sometimes heavy luggage.
I aint spirited driver. So suggest me accordingly.
Also want to know is it possible to straight away fit my stock rims and rubbers to my uncle's 04 INDICA DLS ?

With 185 you will be 100% sure that it would never scrape the wheel. With 195, I have seen my ritz scraping once in my total drive of 600 kms. You just need to be careful in a curve which has a steep slope.
Hope this helps.
@sridhar_setty, what's the exact profile with 195 you have, is it 195/60 R15 ?

Depends on the overall profile of the tyre and not just 185/195..
195/60/R15 will not scrape even with full load. Nisarg, if you are not a spirited driver, I would suggest 195/60/R15 Yokohama A-Drives.
Hey Nisarg , catching up in this forum also.
for 15 inchers upsize for swift - the correct rubber would be 195 /60
and 205- 55 - These wont scrape the wheel arches and no problems.
I have seen 195/60 on my friends car which looks better than the skinny stocks provided .
205/55 -R15 i need to check I fee the Swift looks wild with 205/55 -R15 - but would compromise on FE & performance slightly
Is there any website or thread here that contains comprehensive info on the stock wheels/rim for indian cars ?
What I'm looking for is the usual tyre profile, PCD, number of bolts, rim width and offset info.

Hi praveen. that's the main reason i am setting up my mind to 195/60.
Lets see . Alloys are on the way to ahmedabad. I will get quotes tomorrow from Few yoko dealers. but in S-drive they dont have 195/60 size. they have ES100. 195/60.
Nisarg,
195/60 -R15
I saw on few posts - not available in S drives
Alternatives - A Drives : 3800-4000 Per tyre
Michelin Primacy LC- around 4800 per tyre
Let me know if you have done on other brands and costs :)
Guys ,
Which are the brands available in 195/60 -15 ,
I know Yokohama -A drives ( approx3800), ES 100 ( available?) Michelin Energy XMV8 (4600-800 apprx),
any good ones to addon to these and approximate prices please..please:

Agree that overall profile matters. But 185/195 is an important element for scraping because of the width. My Ritz has 195/60/R15 with A-Drives and they are simply superb.
Hi Guys !
Need the expert advice on the Alloys + Rubber . I have finalised on the below three models
Alloys :
LENSO - PD01 - 25000 ( set of 5 )
LENSO -NXT - 23000 ( set of 5 )
KONIG - 19000 ( Only 4 available )
I have attached the pictures for all the above mentioned . Need your advice and choice on these .
Also regarding the Rubber :
Yokohama A drives - 3600 per piece ( 195 / 60 -R 15)
Maxxis -N35 - 3500 per piece ( 195 /60 -R15)
I need to come out of this confusion:Frustrati which combination to choose from the above shortlisted stuff ( alloys ?+ Rubber ? ) - Need some urgent choices / suggestions / expert advice on these .
Waiting for ur replies ....
