The picture seems to have been taken from the web. The spelling of "steering" as "strig" is lame enough, and tells us loads about the seller.

I would hazard a guess, and say, that the W123 pic was taken abroad, USA perhaps. But the car itself seems RHD. Oh well...

Ah well....! Pre-war 170Vs are rare enough! A bit battered, nevertheless...

And the other car is a Pontiac, and is a 1946 one, not a 56, as described. At the very least, it is good enough that the seller knows something about the cars he wants to sell.

Best of luck to any enterprising guy, willing to restore these!

Indeed a very nice one, compared to many others that come up for sale these days!

If only 'twere available for a price as fair(ly) nice!

I guess this has been on sale for quite some time.

Just hope it goes to rightful hands rather than getting "TRIUMPH'd" and topless as in many cases!

w123s especially in many Hindi movies, mesmerised me as a kid !

not many to be seen on the road in Bangalore then !

had to peek into some compounds to spot them !

and then, around 1982, there was a Zachariah garage on MG Road, where many imported cars for re-sale stood in a line (like dinky cars)!

and nearby was Webbs garage as well ! a visual treat for kids like me !

Hotel Ashok also had many Luxury taxis looking exactly the same as in the pic below.

Firstly, I'm sure the FIAT shown is just for reference. Secondly, at that price, the FIAT should require lots of work. If both the points are proven wrong, then someone pick it soon!!
