Now we are talking. I like havig budgets even if I exceed them.

5" components in the front: JBL, Hertz Energy, Alpine Type S
budget 6K?
6" coax in the rear: same as above: Budget 4K
1 Pioneer 6200 or similar amp: Budget 7K
1 Pio 306C sub in 1-1.5cu. ft sealed box: Budget 4K
Door damping: 3K
2 pair RCA Cables and Install: 3K
------------------------------
Total 28K

if you need to reduce this I'd drop the sub and use 6x9" in the rear instead of the 6". The 6x9 will cost 1K more than the 6" but the sub will save you 4K so net saving is 3K. Total is now 25K.

If you want to reduce it below 20K drop the amp altogether keep the 6x9 and components. That will cost about 16K. (remember with no amp you save on the RCA cables too).

BTW the only JPL I know is Jet Propulsion Labs. They do nice work.

Pio has 2 306 subs. One is TS-W306C and the other is a TS-W306DVC. The difference you can make out in the name.

I couldnt find the pio 6200 or 6100 amp anywhere on the pioneer asia site. Even in the India lineup this is not shown.

There is only ONE Jet Propulsion Labs (they do have many locations, some locations are not advertised).

if more people like you buy from these places, they will have to shut shop & leave. most of the stuff sold on line is grey & comes with the dealer's warranty only, meaning you would have to send it back to the seller for any manufacturing defects.

Audiophile

Dudes,
Sam Kapasi is an audiophile . He used to write in one of the Car mags and believe me the guy is a thorough professional in Audio for cars. I have never had the pleasure of using his services but he comes highly recommended .

Sellers are JBL itself i think. I got the link from fxaudio.com FX Audio | JBL - harman/kardon - Infinity - Denon ProDJ | Dealers in India....

And Samji has confirmed that its genuine and you will get warranty sharranty if you buy from there.

Does anybody have the rear photo of the pio 5750 HU or the type of connector to connect the cd changer.

I just bought a cable to connect my ipod to the HU using the cd changer cable and now im not sure if it's the right one.

Does the pio HU have a square type port connector?

All Pioneer CD changer IP Bus connectors (and hence sockets also) are squarish.

I didnt find a HU backside, but this should give you an idea of what the socket on the HU would exactly look like.
