yesterday i brought Pioneer 3050ub ,i want to install it my own,how do i bring the rare speaker wires(in alto).I heard some people just run under floor mat.
Is there any hidden place below doors or at center of the car? or any other specified place for audio cables.Should i use a separate connector for speakers or solder it to the HU connector.

My ICE
Pioneer deh3050ub (5500 without b/w)
JBL GTO937(2600 with b/w)
JBLGTO042 (1100 with b/w)
Amplifier +compo+sub are due.
Also i could not find enclosure design for JBL cs 1204 sub can somebody help.

Hi gurus!
I shall come straight to the point. To begin with I've a budget of 9K only for the whole setup for my WagonR Lxi new model. Please suggest me a setup upto this range only.
My likes would be Pioneer HU, JBL speakers.

Thanks,
Ramki.

Pioneer HU + JBL would be a great combo. Unfortunately, at your budget, you might not be able to pick anything from those brands with bill and warranty.

Get an entry level Pioneer head unit with 4" coaxes in front and 6x9s for the rear.

Choose either of this combo:

1)

HU- 4-5k
Front Speakers: 4.5k Illusion Electra 4 inch components after discounts MRP is 4990

2)

HU- 4-5k
Rear Speaker: Any decent 6X9 on hatch door for 2.5k + plank & installation cost

EDIT: I agree with Amit's suggestion too. Select the combination you prefer most

ya it makes a sense to go for components. i think wagon R can have a provision for more than 4" in the front doors?
but then i think the budget goes more. also components work better on amp. gto427 is also a powerful speakers for front.

I do not know but have heard that some shops were giving discounts, this is based on hearsay. Apologies if this is not the case.

@Amit:Wagon R has same speakers slots as Alto on dash.

Dissatisfied with Car Audio Setup

Hello!

I have the following setup in my Baleno LXi 05 model:

Pioneer 5650 HU
JBL 606 comps on the front
JBL 936 in the rear (The rear left speaker was repaired once when it's tweeter fell off from the central mount)

I had got the setup installed in Jan 06. However, of late I have started disliking the output:

- The sound produced is too shrill, with a lot of hiss
- The bass is not deep enough, and the rear speakers start cracking at high volume
- In essence, the music lacks soul. I have tried all equalizer settings but nothing seems to work resolve the issue :-(

This especially compared to my wife's Alpine which produces a much mellow, and deep bass output.

Can you guys suggest changes in my setup to rectify my problem? Is there a speaker life as well, do speakers wear out with time?

Thanks a ton..!
Irwin
