What about costs for wiring(RCA + Power), antenna, Fuses. Also end hand stuff might work well or might not, you never know.

Your current costs are already at 6900 without wiring & HU costs + no warranty

They are made of copper, silver etc that are excellent conductors.
Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene) is an excellent dielectric. This means insulation. So a teflon wire might be a copper wire that is coated with teflon. I suppose.

TEFLON-coated wires. The conductor is copper, the insulation is dual layer PVC+PTFE. Can take more overload without the insulation degrading fast.

Hey sonic_boom,
Teflon wires have their skin made up of teflon (hardest+high temp resistive 160+deg cel.nylon, typical applications are at your kitchen ie.non stik tava, teflon coating for underboady in cars and ..endless) wires are made up of silver coated copper. Teflon is one of the hardest form of nylon. They are widely used in electrical+electronics to carry high current @smaller surface area.

May be u can check in www.teflon.com

Yes Sam,
Thickness of Teflon wires (ie teflon instead of normal pvc skin) will be verry less compared to normal pvc wires (Finolex) at given current handling capacity. It will be verry easy to bring them inside the car from attery.
