Thank you Akki and Lazy brain. Generally I don't open many apps. But the wi fi will be on as far as I am in the range of our own network. Other wise I don't open any application. Down loading is nil after ios5. I am not at all aware what is cydia.
I was bit worried even after pressing Switch+home button for more than one minute also it did not open. Any how it is fine. Almost 30minutes it gave me tension and before approaching apple india it re started with apple logo.

Switching off location services helps with Maintaining battery life in my iphone4- ios5.
Yeah once my cracked 3g did go blank so I restarted it in the similar way & it went fine. But it took 5 mins at the max .

Finally, iPhone 4S likely to launch in India on November 25 !!!!

I am planning to buy iPhone 4. I was told that the phone prices are expected to go up as the dollar rate has increased. Just wanted to know your views on this.

Also I wanted to know if there will be any reduction in iPhone 4 price as a result of iPhone 4S release.

if the price change is considerable, i would wait until the release. else will go ahead with the purchase right away.

^^ Doubt if there would be any difference in the prices of iPhone 4 from what it is now ! Guess its already selling at 35K and would remain that since the 4S is expected to be priced at 40K for 16GB !

Wait a little more for the 4S launch then the price of the 4 is bound to reduce.

I just updated by iPhone4 with iOS 5.0.1 software update (OTA- Over the Air) from Mobile itself.
After installing it, I have read some articles in NET about glitches with iOS 5.0.1 with WiFi and Contacts Apps.
Anyone has faced any issue so far after upgraded with iOS 5.0.1.

Hey guys, I am planning to get a locked iphone 4 and unlock it. I had a 3GS before and knew about the software unlocks for that.

Are software unlocks available for any of the basebands of iphone4? Has anybody tried them or is gevey sim the only option?

I updated iOS 5.0.1 through over the air update. It's simply awesome and amazing. Hope the battery issue is really fixed .

Is there anything else other than the battery fix that is material in this update? I am on iPhone 4

Got my iphone 4 replaced this weekend. Had a few scratches and cover peel off due to intermittent drops and my warranty was about to expire in 20 days.

So went to the store quoting that out of my 2 speakers only one was working, and to my horror and embarrassment was told that it has only one speaker along with the microphone!
Having gone so far to the store i decided to make an excuse about my home button getting stuck often and was told that they were happy to replace as i was under warranty.

Got a brand new/refurbished spotless new iphone 4.
