You could also consider Nokia 603. But you would need a micro SIM for this model.

I did read a few reviews where Atrix 2 is rated highly only because of its relatively low price of 100$. So the price has overshadowed its quirks if any i guess.
I've had a chance to have a couple of days with this phone

+ves

-Relatively lower priced, Dual Core with 1GB RAM
-Excellent for business users. Stock email app is nice and good (Can disable smart forwarding for exchange users.)
-Built quality is good
-Even at 4.3" screen doesn't look bulkier, feels handy than SGS2
-1080p recording and playback.
-Will get official ICS update
-Beautiful screen with qHD resolution
-Hardware notification LED which all galaxies sorely missed out.

-ves

-Even with 8MP cam, the shooter doesn't seem so good. My Neo's 8MP shoots much much better in comparison, especially in low light.
-Not much support over net if you're kind of a ROM roaming person.
-Not as snappy as the SGS2 HW

I think 23K seems to be a price on the higher side. If priced around 20K, this will sell in decent numbers and will be a real VFM. Lets wait to know whether Motorola will slash down the price.

Looks awesome. I like the concept. How much does it cost though?

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

And meanwhile I managed to brick my Note.

Read this: ICS Full Root Stock kernel LP1 I9220 and N7000 - Page 21 - xda-developers

The next 35 pages describe woes of people who bricked their Note with a Kernel.

NAND memory has corrupted blocks and permissions messed up, so Odin cannot write the system code to the NAND, I am left with a phone which cannot boot into the OS, nor can flash a new ROM nor can restore the backups. Darn!

There is this new Kernel from AngeloM whcih has touch recovery module along with root added, so I upgraded the Kernel. But the chap got it wrong, so most people ended up corrupting their NAND permissions to Odin. Effectively making it impossible to write anything to NAND, so we are stuck on bricked phones.

Do not worry, you will not be able to brick yours unless you flashed this kernel. But it would be a good idea to go back to GB until an official ICS is released and only then try custom ICS ROMs. The Chinese ICS leak is not for GNote and is causing many problems I gather.

Edit: What is your configuration? Are you still on Midnote or changed to Rocket Rom? What Kernel? If you are on any of AngeloM's kernels then it is a good idea to not do ANYTHING with your phone and sit straight. Do not even take back ups, essentially do nothing that needs a reboot, until the problem is solved.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

@Anil.

I have not used the angeloM. Not a big fan of this kernal from SGS2 days. I am on the CF LP1 kernal in Midnote.2.0

May go back to GB to avoid any such issues.

.
Man that's bad. Specially for a nice droid like Note.
I'd this problem was reported by many users then why did you take the risk?
Anyways, hope there is some solution quick. Else that's one hell of an expensive brick.
The other side of custom ROMs.

There's no chance to go back to original stock condition? Is it permanently bricked? If so, are you gonna claim warranty?

This is available only by mid April and the cost is yet unknown. But it really looks cool. I hope this concept will kick in more such products from different manufacturers.
