Signature option doesn't work and is going to be removed from future versions of the app - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/team-b...ml#post2879130

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Just updated my new SGS3 to the unofficial JB 4.1.1, rooted it, restored my apps and contacts.

The official JB OTA is being released in Oct '12.

I think that too is coming out in Oct. http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2012/0...-confirmation/

Also see sammobile.com for the latest ROM files. PLEASE be careful with the ROM versions you choose, they are country/market specific. You can brick your phone.

The JB 4.1.1 has some memory leak problem and is absolutely bad on battery. Brilliant on functionality and smoothness but requires some restart and charging more often.

I went back to 4.0.4 as I faced issues after a reboot, the phone was stuck on the Samsung logo (soft brick). Will wait for the official JB OTA that is due next month.

I dont have first hand review or anything. But at 17.6k i personally dont find it VFM. I know it has ICS out of the box but Spend a little more and you can get your self a Samsung S Advance @ 19.5k which is a 1 Ghz Dual Core and has JB update lined up in near future.

Just my 2 cents.

Regards,

I don't think S advance will be getting JB in near future.

I hope it doesn't happens, I just bought One V instead of S advance, Just because of ICS update

But One V also is a pretty good phone, Though a bit laggy sometimes, Single core 1 ghz processor and 512mb ram is to be blamed here.

Cheers,
Sameer

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Any first hand reviews / views on sony miro with 800mhz processor running ICS. Online reviews give it a good rating. The weakest link seems to be the processor and RAM.
