Be cautious and ask the right questions. They tried to sell us a June manufactured black, and a jan manufactured silver. We dropped that dealer and went to another one.
The below post also has mention of 45k cash discount in addition to the VW finance offer and the minimum loan amount is mentioned as 1L though at a much higher interest rate.

Force Motors has come with an exclusive offer for suppliers.

can be same for customers, but sound s good if anybody is ok with Plane jane interiors. major drawback no Airbags, otherwise it fits quite good in all departments.

Huge space & comfort all over.

Team, I've finally arrived on the decision to buy a new Ritz VDI. What would be a best time to buy it on further discounts, if any. Will buying a 2013 model in jan 2014 prove additional discounts over the present 25000 discounts? any pointers are appreciated, I'm from Bangalore.

I'm in no hurry to buy the car.

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Dear Friends - Planning to buy the Duster. Need help for a good deal.

Duster RXL Diesel 85BHP
OTR Price in New Delhi - 1116000
Total Discounts being offered - Approx 52K
Approx OTR price after discounts = 10.65 lacs

Front and Rear Bull Guard - 18000 Rs
Both Side Steps - 14500 Rs
Chrome Kit - 3000 Rs
Graphix(Duster) on both sides - 2500
Door Visor - 1200
Side View Mirror Blinkers - 3000
Reverse Parking Sensors - 6000
Rear View Camera - 5000

Additionally the dealer has agreed to give a discount of 15 percent on the above accessory list.

Anyone got a better deal in Delhi ?
I was blunt enough to ask for a discount of 1 lac
Have been offered approx 50-55k max till now.
Want to make sure that we can get the max discount as a possible Duster facelift could be in the offing in the next 3-4 months.

I remember reading somewhere on this thread only, one person got 60k discount plus 15k worth of accessories free. Also, the prices of accessories quoted seems quite expensive, you can get most of them aftermarket, for 60 percent of the price quoted to you.

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

I am evaluating the purchase of SWIFT VDI.

I got this quote from Sai Service, Lower Parel, Mumbai for Individual Navi Mumbai registration.

Quote:
Ex Showroom :- 635753
Depo :- 6840
Registration :- 72058
Zero Dep Insurance :- 23676
On Road :- 738327
Consumer Offer 9000
Total On Road :- 729327
I will go for full payment. This is their standard quotaiton.

Can the deal be made better?

PS: Checked at ICICI and Bajaj Allianz. Their Zero dep is almost exactly the same as Sai Service's.

Discounts on the 'T' badge? That looks like a far shot unless the dealer is letting you take a TD vehicle or a known lemon(That's a long shot!)

Good luck, do let us know if the Trivandrum dealer is giving any freebies.

Swift has about 22-25k discounts on all models. Negotiate with another dealer. The deal is 15k + 10k which is combination of discount + loyalty/exchange, etc.

Try to get the quote for accessories from aftermarket shops and ask them to match it. That will save a HUGE amount. Please ask for free "Gang of Duster" membership as well.

Thank you SFN. I'll not be opting for any EMI, can I get additional cash discounts over, and above the usual discounts that may apply in the last week of December?

I have NOT really come across any funding options by Maruti. So it's unlikely. They usually offer cash discount, exchange / loyalty bonus, accessories. Nothing on EMI if I am NOT wrong.

Since you are in Bangy, I strongly suggest you get a quote from each dealer and pitch them against each other aggressively. That way you can assure a slightly better deal always.
