Noticed a difference in positioning of Cruise control buttons on the steering wheel in the Brazilian and Indian version of Ecosport

Following is the Brazilian version

Both T/T+ variants seem to have projector headlamps. The alloys/tire profile are different in the two pictures (16" Vs. 17" wheels?) of the brown cars.

re: The 2017 Ford EcoSport Facelift caught testing in India. EDIT: Now launched at Rs 7.31 lakhs

Just read the issue. Key points:

1. Dragon engine is a winner. Very refined and has no lag. Pulls from a low rev range upto 6500 rpm. 7 percent more fuel efficient than previous version.
2. Seats have been redesigned and are softer. Front seats are wider. Rear seats set higher to liberate more legroom. Good quality leather upholstery in titanium +
3. Touchscreen is class leading in responsiveness and clarity. Gets apple carplay and android auto.
4. 7 different ambient lights available.
5. Same old IB5 Five speed gearbox
6. 17 inch wheels on titanium+ 205/50
7. No sunroof
8. Digital MID with tyre pressure monitor
9. Rear camera and sensors
10. 6 airbags

Thanks for the excerpt
Have they mentioned whether the automatic comes in the T+ variant? How about the tentative pricing?

Awesome @RavenAvi. Apart from pricing, this is one critical piece of information everyone is waiting for to make a decision on which variant to choose in new facelift.

Some interesting things I observed is that there is no Platinum variant in this list. I guess may be reserved for future with SunRoof = Blind guess.

Also i noticed that from Trend+ onwards i see "Power Fold outside mirrors" which is yet another new thing which was not discussed about in all previous posts. Also, TPMS is a good addition for top end Titanium+ variant.

There is no mention about Tyre size differences in this list. May be in different slide, that we are yet to receive

It does not say anything about Leather seats. I hope these are part of T+ variant.

Thanks for sharing. Sadly no Titanium S at launch. May be happening later. Those alloys on titanium S looked super cool.

The lower variants as with the previous version is well equipped. I find it puzzling that isofix mounts, auto headlamps and wipers are differentiators in titanium+. They ought to be in trend or ambiente.

Looking at this it is safe to assume that there will be no Top variant automatic again.

Surprise surprise.. Titanium variant loses ISOFIX also Titanium AT variant loses Side & Curtain airbags. Losing these 2 safety features are disappointing

Wow, I think many would be satisfied with even the Ambiente variant. I don't see much value in the features added in Trend+ and Titanium variants. The Titanium+ is the next variant after Trend worth looking.

If Ambiente is priced at 7 lakhs ex-showroom for the petrol, this car is going to sell very well.

This is nothing but electrically foldable ORVM. Ford has given it a fancy name, even my 7 year old i20 has this. A very helpful feature, I might add.

Even I would like to get myself an Ecosport S. Really hope it does get launched soon, hopefully with a sunroof and a 6 speed gearbox. Ford, if you are reading this, please make it happen!

So the Titanium + gets the same alloys as S? Any mention of expected launch of the Ecosport S?
TPMS would be a good addition to an already sweet package.

RavenAvi, you rock!!! What a worthy piece of information.
I also got a confirmation for second time that the overall height is dropped and is at 1665mm. However, it does not change the ground clearance nor the cabin is impacted. Not sure how they achieved it.
The 60:40 split (base and back rest) is available only in T+ variant. In titanium the back rest is 60:40 split not the base.

The 16" alloys in the titanium look like the enlarged 15" alloy that was available as an accessory earlier.

All that has come to our knowledge today are very promising. Hope the pricing status that way too.

That's exactly what i was coming to @Dasjager. I too had i20 Asta and when Hyundai added that feature, it was like WOW factor and segment first for a less than 10 lacs hatch. It was a head turner then. It is indeed Extremely useful feature in city traffic and to avoid getting it damaged by two wheelers or in tight space or even while parking in public roads.

Even though EcoSport came with feature rich/technology adapted compact SUV in 2013 at that time, but this one was missed out. Am happy they included it now.
In one of the brazil version videos, we saw a feature where auto roll up of Window glasses when the car is locked. There is no mention about it, so i guess we may not get it in Indian version.
