I would recommend Bosch eco.

They charged me 400 for a pair for my Safari. And they last really long.

I had used then before and got another pair just Today. I tried valeo before this and it wasn't as good. How much did the wiper cost you?

I paid something close to 320/- for a 26" + 14" pair. Lasting well so far sans and streaking, squeaking, shuddering and juddering.

Happy to have found a sasta and tikau set of blades to recommend to others.

Glad you're having a good experience with Bosch as well!

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Planning to change the wipers on my 2 years old 2019 model creta.
The current ones(One of them is shuddering and is not cleaning well and leaves a streak)
Kindly suggest should I go for the regular ones or frameless ones.
Thanks in advance

Last week had changed all the three wipers on my Creta to Bosch ECO (Conventional) from DHC blades (frameless).

Driver side: 26"
Passenger side: 16"
Rear wiper: 12"

Paid ₹400 for the front set and ₹120 for the rear. For the rear wiper, I bought a 12" Bosch ECO wiper and swapped the rubber blade.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Just replaced my sx4 wipers with mytvs frameless ones for the first time. All this while I was using the conventional ones. Absolutely love the clean sweep and looks much much better.
Definetly recommended.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

The stock wipers on the polo were working just fine. But they were more than a year old. Replaced them with Bosch Clear Advantage frame-less wipers from boodmo and amazon, 24" and 16". Not a world of difference but these are quieter, look cleaner, and work efficiently, without any noise or stutter.

Any idea with these Michelins wipers have connectors compatible with Mercedes?

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Installed Valeo Frameless Wiper blades for the SX4. Had earlier used their conventional blades and was quite satisified and hence decided to try out their frameless variant this time. It is looking very promising and the sweep of the blade is very good during windshield washing. Not sure how it would be in heavy rain but so far so good. I had once used Bosch Eco blades and these were the worst ever used and after some time, it left permanent sweep marks on the windshield which only went away after polishing. Compared to that, even the MGP syndicate blades were pretty good.

The one you have quoted would come with adapters going by the product description. You can also check out some blades from Hella or Valeo which either are car specific(Valeo Silencio) or would come with different adapters so that you can use what suits your car. Since these two companies also supply to European manufacturers, they would be primarily suited for such cars, and hence the adapter would not look too much on the blade.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

After sticking to Bosch Eco for long shifted to Valeo. Bosch Eco served me well lasting 2-3 years easily before i used to change them.

Got Valeo through boodmo. The only problem which i did not like was the fact that the wipers were manufactured in 2019. Had read a couple of posts back that valeo wipers available online are a little dated. Seems to be the case still. However considering that it cost me ~450 bucks went ahead and installed it. The wiper works well and gives a clean sweep without much noise.

Hi. The Michelin Hybrid wipers are pretty good and come with adapters for pretty much all the cars out there. I had taken a pic when my ordered pair arrived and this might help confirm your adapter type. You can also visit this page to order. I had ordered from here and received a pair imported in 2021 at a price cheaper than amazon. So I am pretty happy

Turns out they don’t fit newer gen Mercs. Luckily managed to use it on my Jaguar F pace instead since one wiper was slightly damaged.

The link on Amazon actually lists the brands it works on and Mercedes is not listed on it. Should have seen that before. However BMW and Audi are. And it does work on JLR cars as I managed to fit it.

Re: The 'Wiper Blade' Thread

Looking for suggestions.

Changed to 3M wipers on my Swift last Dec as the stock wiper blades started squeaking and streaking within 6 months. The 3M wipers were pretty good - there were no squeaks and was very silent. As of yesterday in heavy rain - lots of squeaking, judder and shudder. The noise just drove me nuts and my wife thought am being pedantic. Have a couple of long drives coming up and TN is forecasted to have rains. Unsure which wiper blade to pick up. I once hit the wiper stalk inadvertently at standstill when reaching for something. The windscreen was dusty and dry at the time. Maybe that spoilt the blades. The car's under covered parking always.
