That is something I would be interested in because I rate my tyres every 5000kms and prefer a stand alone unit rather than using my phone.
There is a provision for 5 sensors in the Sensairy HUD. The mounted 4 will be continuously visible. The spare tire pressure can be accessed through one of the keys.

Oh. Didn't find a 5 sensor option on the website.

So I buy the 4 sensor one and then add in the fifth sensor?

The problem with these internal sensor based systems is that tyre rotation messes the tyre positions. So every time I rotate a tyre, can I reset which sensor is where?

Does anyone have a users manual as pdf that I can browse?

It is easy sir.

Just drag the sensor to the position you want to it to be in after rotation is done. It'll throw a dialogue box asking if you want to interchange sensor position. Just click on 'Yes'. Good to go.

You can buy a 5 sensor option for Rs 6000 and the HUD separately for Rs 1200. Tyre rotation is very easy and in the android/ios app it is a simple drag and drop exercise.
I have the hardcopy of the HUD manual but not the pdf.

One easy way would be to do changes in the app and then transfer data to the HUD.

Yes this method is for the App. I have the 5 sensors setup using on my android mobile. Haven't got the HUD as I didn't find any use of it.

Attaching the manual for the HUD

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Quick question.

I usually quit all apps to save battery power. So if I have quit their app, I will have to re launch it or does it automatically detect via bluetooth and launch?

And secondly,

If I have music streaming from my phone and the app detects a loss in pressure, would it immediately swap from the music screen to the app screen to show the alarm?

Yes, you'll have to relaunch the App. And to get fresh updated sensor data, Bluetooth and Location needs to be ON.

The below screenshot shows the warning that appears if Bluetooth and Location are OFF when the App is launched

Yes, irrespective of it, a warning will come up with alarm too. But for that Bluetooth and location must be ON and App needs to be running in the background

This is how the warning appears for low pressure

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Thanks!

Surprising why they want location on! This is why I don't like app based options. They track things that aren't needed.

I'll try the HUD option mostly.

Responses on some more questions from Ajay Bhat:

1. If I have quit the Android app, will I have to re-launch it or does it automatically detect via Bluetooth and launch in case of emergency?
AB: If you quit the app, app will alert you via notification and alarm in case of emergency. But it will not launch automatically.

2. Alternately if the App is up but in background and if I have music streaming from my Android phone and the app detects a loss in pressure, would it immediately swap from the music screen to the app screen to show the alarm?
AB: Yes. Music will stop and the alarm will play and alarm screen will display.

3. Is it advisable to buy from Amazon.in - is the support/warranty the same even if we buy from Amazon.in ?
AB: Yes. Same support/warranty will be there.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

I faced an issue related to connectivity with sensors. It was taking 5-10 minutes to update tire pressure in the app. After some digging,I found that it is happening due to my Garmin fitness watch. This watch is also connected all the time with a phone app and it was causing problems in connection with sensors. So I had to switch off the bluetooth from Garmin watch and then tire pressure was updated within a minute or two.
If you two devices which are simultaneously connected to phone then one device has priority over other. I also shared this with Ajay from Sensairy.

Re: SensAiry : An app-based TPMS

Hello everyone!

Has anybody faced any issue with battery life?
As far as I know we must replace the sensor in case the battery fails / runs out of juice.
New sensor costs 1500 Rs.
So, I was little bit concerned about this.

Otherwise product seems good.
Much better than those Chinese products.

As of now, I haven't faced any issue with batteries. It's been 2 years since I got them installed. The claimed battery life is 5 years and after that, we need a new sensor which hopefully should be available at a cheaper rate.
