Re: Most durable wax I have encountered - Collinite 845

My stock of Collinite 845 is over and thought of ordering online. Bringing Best Impex is charging 1759 INR for the product plus an additional 120 INR for delivery. I stumbled upon another site, greenzcarcare.com which is offering the same product at 1713 INR with free shipping. Anyone has experience buying from greenzcarcare ?

Re: Most durable wax I have encountered - Collinite 845

Has anyone used a pressure washer on a waxed car? If yes, does it strip the wax off (especially collinite 845)? I am curious as I have recently purchased a pressure washer but haven't used it as yet.

Ideally it shouldn't. If it did, it means the wax/sealant had bonding issues and you should re look at your process of applying wax/sealant.

Makes sense to buy from them at a lesser price than from Bringing Best Impex.

Review: Collinite 845

I am very pleased with Colinite 845. I followed the instructions, washed and clayed the car before applying the wax. The results after buffing was spectacular. A brilliant shine on my white Alto K10!

The wax has to be warmed and brought to liquid state before application. In a new bottle which is full, the wax will spill out after liquefying. So be careful not to waste product. It is safe to microwave the plastic bottle.

They are nice people, so no issues with them. I have bought from them a few times.

Whoops. I got mine for 1223/- in Jan 2011. That's a whopping 45% increase in 4 years.

I use collinite on my car 2-3 times a year and the indication for reapplying it, is that the water doesn't bead while washing the car. I have not found the pressure washing, done during service, has stripped the collinite off.
Very happy with the finish and shine on all my vehicles. FYI I still have about 1/2 the bottle left .

My 2008 Cedia, shampoo wash, remove tar stains using a 3M solvent, and then Collinite pre wax cleaner and Collinite 845.

Looks neat.

I got a chance to use my kit last weekend on my Swift and a bhpian Aditya@Pune's Cruze. The results are pretty good:

The Swift being White doesn't show much of a difference but the Black car really shines out post treatment. Water beading after Collinite application is superb. Will give an additional coat next weekend.

Re: Most durable wax I have encountered - Collinite 845

Collinite 845 is retailing at INR 1959 at BB Impex (with MF cloth and applicator pad), while the same costs 1713 at greenzcarcare. Both the prices seems overtly inflated after reading this thread. Is there any other place from which we can source Collinite 845?

Is this applied by hand or dual orbiter or rotary?

If by hand how much time did it take for one car Kiran? Especially the black Cruze.

Meguiars Clay + Collinite done panel by panel takes about 2-3 hours. Applied by hand.
