Congratulations for the choice of a Kinetic - - I own a Nova135 and have found it to be a better riding experience than the Honda Activa. I get close to 47kmpl with far better performance. Maintenance is also peanuts prrovided one takes due care of the vehicle.

The Dio is good in looks and performance but the Activa is one generation old in design..old design dumped by the Japanese in India like the way the OHC(TypeII) was.

No offence meant here but let's try to promote Kinetic instead of the over-hyped Honda.

@IRaghava, no pink colour :(, but i am going to change my display avatar to Bipasha Basu once i get the scoot.

Not to mention the NHC as well--no airbags or ABS, except for the pricey vtec new model

Congrats DCEite, it takes guts to buy something unique thats contrary to mass opinion.

The SYM has telescoping forks up front (like bikes) and that combined with the front fuel tank gives it the good ride and handling compared with typical scoots. Give us a review and keep us posted on the long term performance.

Since this is my first two-wheeler (after bicycle), i may not be the best guy to give an expert review yet.
But some initial impressions:

1. The fuel tank has a capacity of 5 litres (according to the manual). But to my surprise, from reserve, only 3.57 L could be filled up for tank full. Gotta check about this with the dealer tomorrow when i get the RC.

2. Refinement is good, specially compared to the Activa, DIO and Bajaj Kristal.

3. Indicator switches are a bit delicate. Getting to the neutral(no indication) position sometimes takes it to the other extreme. But i think i will get used to it.

4. I would have preferred the horn to be on the right side, but its on the left.

5. Top speed as claimed is 80kmph, although i have not crossed 20kmph yet.

6. Regarding FE, not much known yet, just had a tank full. Will update in a few days.

7. Large storage space beneath the seat. Seats themselves are large and supportive. Nothing much to complain here.

sathyaprakash - if i see a guy riding a flyte, my opinion of him would be unchanged. maybe improved a bit, to see that he is secure and not taken in by silly advertising. i just think that the flyte is a really good scooter in many ways and thats that. what has it got to do with girls or men?

DCEite- congrats. i ll post my pics soon too. by the way dont u love the front fuel filler thingy?
