My responses above. The car was addictive and continues to be so 2500 Kms on.Is in a class of its own.If it were my first car, I think I would have had only 1 car for a long time.

Completely agree. I have done about 1500 kms in a month and feel the same way about mines as well. Am loving it too much to even let the chauffeur drive this one. In past 30 days I have only let him drive it once (today).

Re: Volkswagen Polo 1.2L GT TSI : Official Review

Mods Can we have an official review of the Polo GT TDI? A lot of people will be confused between the TSI and TDI as both vehicles are driver oriented. Atleast a report on the engine part of the TDI will be much appreciated. The interiors and exteriors would be the same I guess.

If the resale value is low, owners are best staying with this car as a long term. Wondering why is he selling a good car?

I had been to VW Whitefield on last weekend to get an update about the status of my booking(booked a month back, and 12th in the list). Manager confirmed that they have not got any allocation for the last 2 months, and people have been waiting for the last five months.
According to him, the waiting period might increase to 5 to 6 months. So, I will receive my car only in 2014.

Took a test drive once again, and boy I am missing this car.

Did you ask if anyone who has booked the polo has jumped to the Vento TSI? I was hoping for a few such jumps (Been contemplating it myself)

Also, is the Vento TSI available for test drive?

Yes, couple of people have moved from Polo to Vento. There are also some people who have booked Vento(without cancelling their earlier booked Polo), may be they will take which ever comes first(and cancel the other one).

There is no Vento TSi for the test drive in VW Whitefield.

Re: Volkswagen Polo 1.2L GT TSI : Official Review

Three times my instrument cluster settings and memories got cleared after cleaning it with microfiber cloth. The clock resets to 12:00, the speed limit set is back to ---, the trip computer is back to 0.0 (the Odometer remains at total KM's run so far), the two memories (travel times ,average speed, average kmpl, etc) are back to all 0's.
Has any one else faced the same issue? How to avoid the same?

Re: Volkswagen Polo 1.2L GT TSI : Official Review

Drove a fellow bhpian's Polo Gt Tsi extensively over the last few days. His was probably delivered on the launch day itself.

The ODO stands at 8500 kms as of day before yesterday evening. He has been constantly getting 13-14kmpl within city and 16+ on highways. The other car in his garage is a Merc A class which was also bought during the same period and has done <200 kms yet. That shows how much the Polo GT is being liked at his place.

The car feels a breeze to drive in stop n go city traffic and can take you well in safety & comfort on the highways.

Regards,
