I too had a similar issue, though the crack was a wee bit smaller. I bought Permeates 09103 Windshield Repair Kit from Amazon.in. It is imported from the USA. Costs about a thousand bucks. Chose it after watching some YouTube videos. However, I didn't finally use it observing that the crack was not widening at all.

Earlier, Windshield Experts refused to fix it even though their website says they do.

Should there be rust on a brand new car wheel?
Normal, nothing to be concerned about there.

Windshield experts near my place always tried to replace the glass under warrant stating a coconut fell on it and was never keen on any actual 'repair' work.

To the original person who cracked the windshield -> https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/diy-d...hip-crack.html (DIY Repair: Windshield Chip & Crack)

Just got back from a quick trip to Dehradun. Total distance covered was 644 Kms, MID showed FE of 19.5 KMPL. Car is short of 900 KMs for its next service which will be done next month at 1,15,000 KMs.

Do you get it serviced every 5K KMS? MASS tries to pull this scam of asking people to me in every 5k but the manufacturer recommended interval is 10k KMS.

Nope, quoting my own post for the reason why my interval is pushed by 5k kms.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

My OEM battery gave up the ghost today afternoon. It has lasted all of 2 years and 2 months (39k KMS). Have ordered an Amaron Flo from Battery Bhai and will hopefully be delivered by tomorrow. Hopefully will last longer than the OEM one. Cost me 4.8k with the exchange of old battery. D(st)ealership quoted 6.5k for an SF battery and they said they will give nothing towards the old battery.
These guys are making a killing on almost everything they sell.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

My new S Cross is giving me a mileage of 12-12.5 KMPL in Delhi. Is this in line with the mileage that everyone gets?

I was hopeful that it'll be more around 15-16 in the city.

That seems to be low.How many kms has the car run so far?

I get anywhere between 15-17 kms in the city. I drive around 22 kms on a daily basis and 6kms of this is narrow roads with bumper to bumper traffic.

990 KMs. Yes. Even I think it's low. I turn off the hybrid on/off thing as soon as I sit in the car.

It's time for the first service. I'll get that done and check.

What could be wrong?

Mileage should increase after your first service.

How are you measuring the mileage? tank full to tank full method or you are going by the reading provided on the instrument cluster?

Reading on the instrument cluster. Is that inaccurate?

My experience has been that its always 10% less that what it shows. So if mileage is showing up as 20 kml/ in reality it will be 18km/l.

I own the pre-face lift model which was not smart hybrid.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

@coolkurt ~ Get the first service done and use the tank full to tank full method. The engine is just starting to settle in, after you get in few thousand kms, you should see a definite increase in your mileage.

It all depends on the traffic conditions. I get 18 kmpl, my drive mostly involves driving on 20kms of meerut expressway. Give it some time, the mileage will increase as you clock more KMs.

The worst I have seen is 15 kmpl in B2B.

Long press to reset that reading, as it as a cumulative till date. Just do that at the start of the day, drive normally for the rest of the day and when you reach home, look at that reading.
