| ![]() Shouldn't EGR cleaning be included in the PMS? Why is this being charged separately? Maybe you should get clarity from Maruti on this. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() If the cost is on the higher side kindly take a second opinion. A coolant leak fix for 21k seems high. I have been to Shivam autozone and they seemed to be decent though I have done only 3 services. Is your car out of warranty? If so then a FNG will be a good idea to goto. Kindly look up the T-BHP directory for one close to you. |

| ![]() I confirmed it, EGR is not included in the regular service. Mine is S-Cross 2015(1.3 Zeta). Covered 60000 km and service was for 60k.During pre-service inspection I noticed coolant leak along with SA. Last edited by Chetan_Rao : 15th November 2020 at 22:56. Reason: Fixed quote tags. |

| ![]() Last week while driving towards home, the hose connecting to diesel filter assembly conked off, leaving me stranded; thankfully, the same happened only 100 m from home. Called our friendly mechanic and got it fixed. However, to my dismay, i found the diesel leaking from the hose; refer to the attached pics (it seems the leak is not visible in the pics, unable to upload video). It seems the entire assembly needs replacement. I am not able to understand a plausible reason for the mishap; i have completed ~2100 kms journey from BLR-Ghaziabad without any hiccups during late Oct 2020. If fellow BHPians can throw a light on possible reasons for the same, i will take extra pre-caution going forward. Note: The diesel filter wasn't clogged as per mechanic. I also take care in tanking up from COCO IOCL/HP, Reliance and Shell petrol bunks. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() Rumour: S Cross to be discontinued soon Heard from a reliable source that Maruti has advised it's dealers to order S Cross only based on actual bookings, and to avoid stocking cars. This usually means either the model is going to be axed or updated. Since the petrol variant was launched very recently, most likely the model is going to be axed. I was also told last month that Maruti is running RIPS support on some variants of S Cross. This is dealer support when they have stocks of some model and it's about to be discontinued. This enables dealers to get rid of the cars, by giving extra discounts. This is probably another reason why most dealers don't have Test drive cars for S Cross Petrol. S Cross for me will always remain a car with huge potential in India, which was messed by MSIL's poor decisions. |

| ![]() All the tyre enthusiastic. I am looking for tyre change in S-cross 1.3 (2015). Current ODO is 60k+ running. Stock tyres are still good, however planning for road-trips. The noise being the ugliest part of stock JK. Gone through threads of Dr. Naren on the options as below: Originally Posted by Dr.Naren View Post Stock 205/60 R16 Size 1. Ride comfort is decent, but the tyres get noisy with usage. 3. Yokohama BluEarth is very VFM if you buy from Amazon. Many S-Cross owners have got it this way. I call these tires as "Jack of all trades , Master of none". 4. MRF Perfinza for PERFORMANCE! I strongly recommend these tires for enthusiasts. The price is good too, cheaper than Michelin & Continental. TBHP- @ Rahul also mentioned about Ultramile tyres. Would like to know a single option (cost wise except Ultra mile all are almost same) from the experiences of fellow T-BHPians (as most of them changed stick tyres at the early 3k ODO). Being narrowed to one, will start lloking for better deal in Navi-Mumbai- Mumbai . Of course Noise and steering feel is my concern. Any suggestions for the particular garage/tyre shop in Navi-Mumbai-Mumbai would be more helpful. |

| ![]() Michelin stocks have taken a hit after CoViD. The place I go for alignment regularly, told me it would take 3-6 months to Michelins. Some tyre shops may have, you may however need to check the manufacture dates and decide. You may want to check Rishi Sinha's posts for his experience with Continentals. He's been using them for the last 50K ish kms. |

I am considering the Hertz Audio upgrade kit for my 2018 S cross. I believe it has 4 co axials and a powered subwoofer. Could you please give an update and user reviews. Thanks ![]() | ||
