It seems you need to press the park assist button 2 times to enable the Perpendicular Park Assist mode, please try it.

I think not. Perpendicular parking requires 12 sensors. The Indian version pre-facelift, has only 10. I am not sure if this has changed in the facelift.

Thanks for trying out.

As suggested earlier, I have reached out to Ford India, presence of Perpendicular Park Assist feature will help me make the decision as its immensely important to me in my tight perpendicular parking.

I will update this thread when I get a conclusive answer.

By the way, the current Endeavour can match BSVI using the adblue technology , however that's another question to ask.
3.2 with AdBlue is coming for sure. BiTurbo is a question now given Mahindra JV

There is an option to enable Perpendicular Park Assist on Forscan - not sure if it would work though since it needs more sensors than whats available. But the feature exists for sure.

As mentioned in my earlier post while you can enable Perpendicular park, it will not work. The Indian spec car has only 10 sensors. Perpendicular parking requires 12. Not sure however, if the wiring looms exist but they did not plonk in the sensors. It might be a possibility of this is the case and we can do a sensor retrofit.

Enabling it from ForScan doesn't means it will work.
Even with 12 sensors, I doubt it will work and the controller which works with those sensors might not be there.
They are doing cost cutting on every possible stuffs like LED bulbs under gear shift indicators, I am sure, they are not going to leave extra wiring just in case, if someone try to add 2 sensors for Perpendicular Parking

Extra wiring will not be there for sure. The wiring harness for India version was specifically made by vendors in India for Ford. In fact, the earliest model in 2016 was launched with only 2 Indian components. Wiring Harness and Tyres.

Not the first couple of lots. They were from Thailand/Australia is what I was told. Later Seats and a whole lot got localized with Indian vendors picking up.

I have checked out the car in person. Liked it hence booked it (white color). Will be delivered to me day after tomorrow.
A friend is being offered a similar 'Limited Edition' model.

3.2 4WD, Face lift styling, pre face lift alloys, push button start, no sunroof, no power passenger seat, no center speaker or leather covered IP.

Its a display model and the last one that the dealer has in stock

However, the build date, as per the VIN, is Sep '18.

Could you please let me know what your on road price was, and the breakup

Re: Ford Endeavour : Official Review

My Endeavour is in the 3rd year now and I'm planning to add the extended warranty for 4th, 5th and 6th year.

Can I buy the additional 3 years in one go?

Is it possible to buy it online or I need to visit the showroom/service center ?

Re: Ford Endeavour : Official Review

I am continued to be plagued by the horn not working on one side and the other side one has to press very hard. At times, it is causing safety issue of not able to quickly warn a bike or an auto in traffic. Early this year the steering face plate was replaced under warranty, the new one is increasingly becoming a problem. Anyone facing this issue at this time? Any advice please?
