Excellent choice. Wish you years of safe and trouble free driving. Could you give the total price break up

Hi thanks a lot for the time taken to reply back. I think I understand most concepts reading around in the forum about residual value and EMI's and other stuff surrounding this.

I'm only worried about the tax savings (Because otherwise I would just but the car without the lease option from employer). Are you sure ~30% of 37.5K can be saved? I thought 37.5K included GST and the GST is not accounted and the other part alone will be taken for tax deductions.

Yes, this dealer is trom Coimbatore. Pitstop is a local customisation guy. I guess this was done on one of the rural areas and farms around town. Bad handling of a test-drive vehicle, I agree. Trying to show-off.

We also have another vlogger, Autotrendz on YouTube, from town. Vipraajesh is a self-confessed Tata fan, and reviews all cars and their variants in the market.

Congratulations for your new car .
You may see the following video link to install the dashcam in Harrier (sorry for shaking video but it is quite useful).

In this video cigarette lighter power point is used to power the dashcam, this keeps the USB ports free.

I am using 70mai pro dashcam - amazon link here

The wire is long enough to hide behind the headliner, the A-pillar and goes beneath the driver dashboard, along the side of center column and to the usb charger beneath the armrest. It includes a dual usb port charger. The GPS module is necessary for ADAS functions and speed to be recorded, so, if you dont want these functions, you can do without the module.
A couple of shots from the car with the dashcam:

I have also been considering the 70mai but the pro is out of stock. Will see for few days and then maybe buy the lite model with GPS.

Hi, I have booked the XZA Red yesterday. Wanted to check on the Pentacare extended warranty. Could someone confirm the actual cost of the same. My dealer is quoting 30k. Doesn’t it cost 25960/-.

It should be 22000 + tax (18%) which is equivalent to 25960. I also heard that dealers in Pune have quoted 30k. You may insist to dealer for providing the direct invoice from TATA instead of his dealership invoice, this may avoid any cost escalation.

You can take the pentacare package within 30 days of purchase at the same rate as at the time of purchase from svc. I would suggest talk to other dealers and ask them about the pentacare cost. Then take the warranty from the svc of the dealer that gives it at best rate.

Re: 2020 Tata Harrier Automatic : Official Review

I completed the Pre-Registration Inspection of my booked car (Harrier Dark Edition, XZA+) yesterday. I went with the Team-BHP new car PDI checklist and a few points mentioned in this thread specific to Harrier. After completing a thorough inspection to my satisfaction, the remaining formalities were completed. The experience with dealership was good and everything went smooth. As promised by the SA, the vehicle is new, with October 2020 manufacturing. The current odometer reading of the car is 15km.

I am feeling very excited to get the delivery of the car and hoping to get it within 1-2 days.

Hi Ram, really appreciate if you can share an update (if any) on launch of Harrier with connected tech features.

I am planning to upgrade from Nexon around Diwali and Harrier is one of the car I am looking into. The one connected tech feature which is useful for me is remote AC control. I have open parking space and it would be great to have this feature for northern summer (almost 8-9 months of year). Apart from this, other features geofencing, intrusion alert and vehicle crash notification are good from safety point of view. Thanks in advance.

Re: 2020 Tata Harrier Automatic : Official Review

My BIL got the delivery of his XZA+ Dark Edition today.

I had a dejavu, the delivery experience was almost as underwhelming as my XUV5oo delivery last year. These Indian manufacturers have surely up the game when it comes to their products but they need to work on the overall experience.

That being said, this thing looks killer, I already have a nickname for it, Dust Magnet.
