Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

This looks absolutely smashing !
I just wish Tata Motors adds more features (full LED lights and a bigger, slicker infotainment system. The ventilated seats are an awesome addition though, even enough to tip the favour to the safari's side.

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

Is this Dark edition and ventilated seats also offered in 7 seater variant?

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

Why not carry over the same dash as the dark Harrier?

Harrier dark has a silver-Grey portion on the dash.

All black dash, along with everything else black makes it look claustrophobic IMHO. We are not going to a funeral, are we?

Yes, but only in the front row.

Tata if you are listening, give the Safari 4*4 and see how it flies off the shelves...Let Fortuner be for the more fortunate, lesser mortals like me are happy with this..

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

I think it is not all black, look closely you will see a textured shade of grey..

overall it looks fantastic, but why no AWD option on offer?

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

Love the looks especially with those alloys and as others I do wish a bigger infotainment system. For such a big vehicle it is small.

Now to find the money for plonking on this!

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

While I like the exterior I am quite disappointed with the interior. Feels like it's an overdose of black. May be I might change my opinion when I see it in real than pic. But for now, it just seems Iike someone spray painted the whole of the interiors with black paint.

Totally agree - there is something called doing things tastefully and then there is doing just for the heck of it. Would have forgiven if this was a hatch targetted for just the younger crowd - but in a tourer, this looks out of place (like your spray paint analogy). This color really needs a dash of plain vanilla chrome to give it the right amount of oomph.

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

I think, instead of all white or all black, Tata should launch some interesting colors in the interior like tan, brown etc. I really love the interior color of top variant of Crysta, or the one offered on Alturas. It gives a much more upmarket feel.

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

This is absolutely crazy if it has ventilated rear seats as well. We got the regular one without ventilated seats recently and price difference is not that much compared to what we got.

Isn't it already flying off the shelves as the car is already on waiting, atleast in Bangalore. That said 4X4 would be a good addition, but don't think that is happening anytime soon.

Safari has been getting ventilated seats for sometime in that Blingy gold edition, it was just matter of time it would have trickled down. I am sure few more months down the lane you might be able to buy in all colors. It's high time tata get these features to Harrier also.

That infotainment system needs to go, it is the only eye sore in otherwise well packaged car now.

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

Hello All;

Apologies if this question came up here before -- Is the new Safari front wheel or rear wheel drive ?

I ask this as I read somewhere that Hexa XTA is a rear wheel drive.

Thanks
Shyam
