Not that am aware of.

Your choices are in Gandhinagar (closer that way).

1. Such Sagar
2. Vaishnav Samaj

My choice would be the second one.

I think (if I remember correctly) Maiyas in Jayanagar serves gujrathi food in one of the floors.
Other options are Rajdhani that serves a mix of Rajasthani dishes as well.
And i recently heard that Panchavati Gaurav has outlets at Garuda mall and some other place, do look it up on Zomato, etc.

NPV - You must visit Vaishnav Samaj then. Thats perhaps the perfect Gujju food you would get in namma Bengaluru. Less towards hype and more for the authenticity.

If you haven't made it to anyone yet, try Maharaja Bhog in Lavelle Road or Kesariya in JP Nagar (would be far). Both these serve Gujarathi & Rajasthani Thali's.

Thanks guys. Mr Parag, is Vaishnav Samaj this one? https://foursquare.com/v/bangalore-g...8e703fe512cccf
I did not make it to anyone.
So my options are Vaishnav Samaj, Garuda Mall, Maiyas, Maharaja Bhog, Kesariya.
Will check out soon. Thanks all.

Re: A Guide: Eating out in Bangalore

+1 to Panchvati Gaurav. I've been to the Garuda Mall outlet multiple times (top floor, easily accessible directly from the MLCP), and never had a cause for complaint.

Authenticity I'll leave the foodies to comment on, but the food is terrific, service prompt/polite and the decor soothing. Nothing too fancy, but that's just how I like it.. Avoid rush hours if possible (the place isn't very big) and don't foget the sweet pan afterwards (offered separately).

Re: A Guide: Eating out in Bangalore

Had been to Panchvati Gaurav , Garuda mall. Superb taste, good variety, nice service and good quality food. Mouth watering dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
But it is a mix of Gujarati and Rajasthani cuisine, with Gujarati items consisting about 30% of the Thali.
I would rate it 4.25 on 5. Thanks everyone for suggesting Panchvati Gaurav.
Next I may try Vaishnav Samaj for the Authentic Gujarati dishes like Idhra, Patra, Fafda, Thepla, Khaman, Dhokla etc. .
Guys suggest any other authentic Gujarati restaurants in Bangalore.

Re: A Guide: Eating out in Bangalore

Had been to this new restaurant Fattoush above A2B in Bannerghatta Road. I was super impressed with the decor/ambience. This is a multicuisine restaurant just like Savoury/Empire but with much better ambience and definitely better food.
They gave us complimentary soup. Ordered Sheesh Tawook (Chicken prepared in tandoor - arabic) and Egg Biryani. Both of these were very nicely presented and Biryani was one of the best I have had in recent times. Sheesh Tawook came with nice salad, khubboos (Arab bread), Hammus and Mayonnaise. The quality of Hammus and Mayonnaise that came along were on par with some of those that I have tasted in the Gulf. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth.

Oh, I didn't notice one there. The one I know is in BTM, Udupi Garden signal. Been there a few times, and food was average and was too crowded.

This Fattoush sounds good. Will check out sometime.

Yes. That is correct. This restaurant is above this A2B. Parking can be a problem at times. I parked my car on Adiga's road and took a walk which is peaceful.

The food at this A2B is also average and service is bad.

You have to enter the building on the left entrance and take the lift/stairs to 1st floor for Fattoush.

I agree with Fast Elegance. Please try parking on Adigas Road, If you don't manage to get the parking below Fattoush, then you will keep circling. Especially evenings will be extremely jam packed for parking especially. Exact location is opp HSBC (100 mts before Fortis) if you are coming from Bannerghatta towards the city.

Paradise Biryani- New Bel Road

Visited to the newly opened Paradise Biryani at New BEL Road. I am Biryani Fanatic and very fussy about it.

The Biryani is nothing much to write home about, it's the same fare that is served in most of the joints in Bangalore. It was spicy and quantity was quite filling. Below is my marks card -

Parking - Plenty of parking space in the bylanes next to the hotel

Ambiance - 3/5 Quite spacious , nicely laid out.

Food -3/5 - Same fare that is available everywhere. The Veg menu is
limited and Veg biryani is more Pulao and less Biryani.

Service - 4/5 Serving us the Veg Handi and Roti took a bit of time, but the
refills were fast.
