Thanx MCR,

Have shortlisted MTR ( Mahalaxmi Tiffin room) to be visited. Had been to Vidyarthi Bhavan 2 weeks back. Their dosa these days are nothing to write home about, i feel.

Have been to Kamat Bugle rock. Tried their Jolada rotti oota and the south indian stuff. How is the North indian fare at Kamat ?

You are welcome Rajesh. North Indian at Kamat is priced average. But the taste is also average to good sometimes.

Regards to Vidyarthibhavan, they are on a downward slide now. The place has lost its charm.

I was passing sukh Sagar (the Jayanagar 4th block branch) this afternoon and I could smell the yummy Gobi Manchurian!

It's been a long time since I had the Sukh Sagar version of Gobi Manchurian! I miss it!

Its Mahalakshi Tiffin Room also called MLTR. Its located in Gandhibazar. The black spot(without name) shows its location.

MTR = Mavalli Tiffin Rooms, Lalbagh Road, near Lalbagh main entrantce/ Urvashi theatre. Closed on Mondays.

Try In swing(a cricket theme hotel) opposite Banshankari BDA complex, Above Orerhaul shop.
It's a small place, but serves some good veg food. Very VFM.

Same place Opposite to the temple there was one more MTR

(Modern Tiffin Room). They served some excellent Masala Dosa & Maddur vade. But the place has been demolished now.

Yep Vidhyarthi Bhavan is losing it's charm.

Thats not MTR

MTR = Mavalli Tiffin Rooms. Its mentioned in the previous posts too.

I know it. Been to MTR at Lalbagh road many times.
I was just mentioning about the other MTR (modern tiffin room) in Gandhi Bazaar

@Sushrutha : Have seen 'In Swing' as i stay very close and it does not seem very big. Have to try this sometime.

@ MCR : Have heard the Dosa is very good at the Gandhibazaar 'MLTR'

How is the food at Cable car -SFO ? IS this place also very expensive ?

Where is Jalpan on K.R. Road ? Is it a pure veg restaurant ? Family type?

Had Bale hannu rasayana (Banana rasayana) from Kadamba resturant today. Nice ethnic taste.

It is basically a dessert with cut bananas and dry fruits on jaggery+coconut milk base.
