This movie is a continuation to the prior series of Bourne but, sadly does not come anywhere near the original 3 parts featuring Matt Damon who was perfectly cut-out for the Ludlum's novel based movie trilogy.

P.S: This movie is worth a watch just for the bike racing sequence on crowded Manila's streets
well it is not a continuation , it runs parallel to part 3 of bourne, This could have easily been a separate movie , but i guess they wanted to sell it by catching on to the bourne's name.
Was disappointed , but guess that is due to my expectations , should have known better.

Expendables 2

Action lovers, Rejoice!

Stallone and his 80s-90s friends are Back. This time even bigger than before. Those who loved the first movie will love this one too. Probably even more. I loved it and i can watch it over and over again without getting bored.

Story is just as before, simple and sweet. Where it excels is in Excellent star cast, Stunning action, Super dialogues befitting the personalities and hilarious at times. This one shouldn't be missed. If anyone is looking for a original story or something gripping please look elsewhere. You are not the targeted audience. This is an out and out action film with healthy dose of humor. And delivers.

Have to give 2 thumbs up to the sound design. The sound of all guns is freaking awesome. The blasts are authentic and the best of all, the gun that Arnold uses is freaking bad a**.

5/5

Don't miss this.

Expendables 2

All the action heroes from the time I grew up, and a few more!
Cheesy one liners and trademark action from our favorite stars.
Do not try to use your brain to judge this movie for storyline or reasoning - this one has none.

0/5 or 5/5 - depends on the way you look at it !

The Ides of March

Starring George Clooney and Phillip Hoffman Seymour is a gripping political tale of a candidate fighting for nomination to run for US President.

Gripping story.

If you are a conspiracy theory fan, say you liked "loose change", do try and catch "Zeitgeist".

Dont go out and believe everything, since these theories usually pick on a certain aspect and keep bringing it round and round(like "23", with Jim carrey?).
But, its a good watch.

OT: I sorely miss watching movies after Bigflix has shutdown (rather changed their business model in which i have no interest). Due to additional time on hand, i am driving my car and bullet more than required

Is there any other service provider who does door-delivery and pick up of DVD's?

They stopped their DVD rental service from March-2012.

Rent Movies | Online DVD Rentals | DVD Movies Online | Rent DVDs and VCDs | Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore | Seventymm.com - India's Largest Online DVD, VCD, Movies Rental Service.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Bigflix service and miss that convenience of getting DVD's delivered at doorstep.

Cashback:
Some very nice stills and scenes. Overall a typical rom-com with a catch. 3.5/5

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close:
Did not like it. Found most of the stuff unbelievable; the acting is good, but somehow I just could not connect with a 10 year old doing so much. 2/5

re: The English Movies Thread (No Spoilers Please)

Couple of movies I caught yesterday.

Expendables 2:
This is one HELL of a ride!!
ALL of them, that's all there is to this movie. If you dont get that, then you may probably not like the movie.
I heard from so many people, "this is a nonsensical movie.Idiotic storyline, like our hindi movies from the dark 80's".
WHO CARES???
Cobra/John, Mclane, T-800, Danny, Wong fei-Hung, both the universal soldiers, Boyka, Walker........
You still need a story?
Hell, they did not even need a camera, I say!
5/5

2. Superman Batman- World's Finest
This is old style, so dont expect superslick animation. But its from a school of full length toons I love. If you want to watch Wayne in metropolis, and the joker trying to kill Superman ......that oughta be enough.
As with most original toons I have seen, its Goooood fun.

IIRC, this is a 3 part episode from Superman: The Animated Series. I like all the Batman/Superman animated movies from Warner Bros.

3?
I have caught apocalypse, doomsday, brainiac attacks.
Although there is no connection between them.
Apocalypse was really well told.

I have not seen the Cartoon Series yet, still am catching up on Batman: Animated Series . I have watched Public Enemies and Apocalypse which are full length movies of Batman/Superman though the latter deals more with SuperGirl. What I meant was the World's finest is not a movie as such and is a 3-part episode of the Superman Cartoon TV Series.

Oh I see.

Dang ,you could pass it off as full length. Do also try and catch GL first flight.

re: The English Movies Thread (No Spoilers Please)

Hmm, seems I'm watching the most movies on Team.
Last night I caught :
Blitz
With Jason Statham, and Aiden Gillen.
Statham in a made to order role as an angry, drunk cop, and pitched as a brit, so its amazing.
But wait, its not the kill em all fiesta as per usual, its more sublime.Violent, but sublime.
About a pee'd off gent killing london cops, played by aiden gillen.
remember him as lord nelson in shangha knights? This is worlds apart.
Do catch, if a fan of statham.
