Jaguar Sir, My brother is not so benevolent. I do not believe it will cost more than a Lakh abroad since it was picked up in the US two years ago.
I think I need to ask him but I seriously doubt it costs Rs 19 Lakhs.

If purchased abroad, it can be had for way lower though, probably around a lakh or lower. Also, Ethos usually works out good discounts so even the 1.67 lakh marked price is optimistic in reality.

Re: Which watch do you own?

Almost 2 years now with my Nomos Tangente. I replaced the strap with a much orange looking leather. I got this strap from https://finwatchstraps.fi/

They can customise any strap to your liking! Worthy the try for a nice handmade leather strap!

Re: Which watch do you own?

Got my hands on my first G-Shock, the beautiful GA-2100 'CasiOak' . I'm not really a G-Shock person - I'm not a fan of bulky watches - but this is something else. i just fell in love at first sight!

Which watch do you own?-20200205_22214601.jpeg

It's not the most practical of watches - telling the time on the all- black model is a proper chore, but that minor quirk is outweighed by that sweet, sweet design. It's quite slim for a rugged watch, unbelievably light, and it wears well on the wrist.

It was a bit tricky to find though. Apparently it is in huge demand, and it's sold out in most Casio stores here in Chennai. Luckily, I found it at a Lifestyle store, and to top it off, I even got a neat discount !

Here are a few more pics of the beauty:

Pity that it is a massive piece. Quite unsuitable for anything but the substantial of wrists. Its just too huge for me, much bigger than the earlier gen Rangeman.

A homage to the AP Royal Oak. Looks good, nice pick. The premium range of G Shocks which Casio have been churning out in recent times are quite something else.

Absolutely gorgeous, that is the only G-shock I am willing to buy. It looks stunning in Red too. Spot on regarding purchase though, I am not able to find it in Berlin and most of the online outlets don’t have this color.

Do you mind telling me how much you paid for this beauty? Might pick it up when am in India. Thanks!

Thank you @arindambasu13 ! The Royal Oak is one of all-time my favourite watches, and that was one of the reasons I got it.

Hi @turbowhistle! The MRP was ₹7495. I bought it at Lifestyle using gift vouchers that I got off Amazon at a discount, so I paid ₹6900 for the watch. Funny thing is, Casio is listing the watch on their India web store at a 10% discount, for ₹6750, but predictably, the watch is out of stock.
