This has been asked plenty of times in this thread, but let give it a shot too. As shipping from China is halted due to the clash at the border and amongst the nation's, I am not being able to puchase the vcds cable. As a beginner, I cannot justify spending over 300$ for a software I am not even aware of how to use.

Any kind soul in Kolkata, who can lend me the cable for use. If not, any dealers within India, with a fair price. Appreciate your help.

Hello all, I own a VW Tiguan 17 model. While browsing the thread I realised that the lane change indicator can be modified from flashing thrice to five times. Which I thought is a good idea.

Tried the ASS. The expert on the OBD said he cant do it from the company software. Maybe he is trying to avoid fiddling with the car while still on warranty.

Was wondering if any kind soul in Western Suburbs of Mumbai with the VAG-COM cable and the software can do this change for me?

I live in Andheri Lokhandwala area.

Unable to PM as still a newbee. So How does one contact each other?

I have the cable & software which I have used for making this change on my Skoda Laura. Glad to help you if you can cross over to Andheri East on the weekend. I stay very close to the WE highway.

A friend of mine got to do it with his Superb through a friend. Unfortunately, he did not share how he did that. :/ Maybe garages are charging a fee for this I am guessing and they don't want to let the secret out.

I am trying to see the offroad button setting which is specifically installed in Scout while entire Kodiaq line a AWD.

Help for Common Problem with VCDS Cable

I bought a VCDS USB HEX2 cable of Ross Tech from EOBD Tools from Aliexpress ver 18.6.

When I test it first time as advised by software it shows following 2 messages.

When cable connected to Laptop only

USB Cable found. Ross Tech interface found

After connecting the cable to my Jetta at one end and Laptop at the other

USDB cable found. No interface found.

Intercated number of times with EOBD Tools on whatsapp but same issue.

Additionally when I open the VCI Config file of VCDS software , the interface list is blank.
Tried this based on advice from net.

however I have reached a dead end. If somebody can help.
