@Brix: They are big time after every customer selling 3M treatment. The more the press on the more I am convinced not to get one.

@Gemi: Ah, there you go. I vaguely recalled somebody had taken two years ext. warranty.

I took my insurance from outside and refused the 3M treatment. Probably that irked them. Anyway I will wait for the vehicle to come and then fight it out. Warranty is issued by the company and hence refundable if provided free.

I bought this car because of the all around good word floating around. Plus I work in Ford. Next time I wont be so nice.
Oh. you are almost under full . Just try to come out of it -which will help to enjoy your new car. I think you booked thro MPL @ Taramani - right.

Figo TDCi Dyno Chart - Anyone?

@mustang: I guess you are the right person to ask being a ford insider. Could you try to get a dyno chart (showing torque/bhp curve) for the Figo TDCi engine. I've been googling on this in vain. I also posted this on the related thread here. But still not got any info.

I cant get you an official chart as i dont have it but the chart shown here is more or less correct, See the black & grey curves.

Black is power in KW & grey is torque in Nm.

As you can see max power is 50 KW @ 4000 rpm which means it is 67.98 PS @ 4000 rpm.

Max torque is 160 Nm @ 2000 rpm.

You can see from the graph that one should change gears at 2700-3000 rpm so that you are always driving in the 1750-3000 rpm band in which you will never ever feel that the car is sluggish.

Thanks guys. I had been searching for this for quite a few days.

This really shows why revving her above the 3000 mark is sort of useless.

It is 100% Mkerala. He was the only guy from Kottayam here and the photgraph clearly says that it is Kairali Ford Kottayam. Congrats to Mkerala. But a long weight though

No wonder its 1100. I'm sure someone will come up with a DIY version soon enough.

& that DIY version will void your warranty, This fits neatly from the back of the system & into your glovebox.

Thus you can keep your USB safe there.

would changing the tyres make the ride better? say getting a yoko or falcon without alloys, just the tyres. Same dimensions as that of the stock?

I guess getting michelin energy XM1+ would certainly make your ride quieter.

It sure is a complicated looking device. And this sure looks like it's intended to do more than just USB. To my knowledge, Normal USB ports have a maximum of 5 pins and this fellow here clearly has 20 separate points.

I hope Ford tells us soon what else can be connected in the rest of the ports.
