Price is always important. I have seen cars sell for much much less than quoted price, in some instances so less that when offered, i didnt want to make such a counter offer for fear of insulting the guy, i have learnt a lot since then. The procedure is simple, if you find the price is right, buy it. If you feel its been quoted to high, offer your price but be reasonable, you will get monkeys for peanuts (thats why Rudy has not been able to get his dukkar till now).

Simple: If the price appeals to you, Go get it.

And what did you pay for your Chargers?

Hey, be careful on what you post. A tight-wad with so many Mercedes and a Rolls to top it off. And always hospitable when we visit your office!

But this thing about the price does not only apply to classic cars. In the past your family has purchased a number of cars from the dealers, and you know how they dealt. First the car was offered to a filmy guy at higher prices, then others would get a chance. And often you found that the car was sold to someone else at a rate much lower than what was offered to you. So really, nothing new, sensible or not.
