7 days? Either you have tons of free time on your hands or you're really good at this.Maybe it's both!

Haven't spent a buck on the game myself yet, don't plan to either.

So, can you link me to the eBay page from where you sourced ?
To replace glass you can buy something like this:

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=16136720136

I strongly suggest looking at YouTube videos to replace the front glass before even attempting to buy it.

As to the home button, if you buy the touch screen plus digitizer assembly it comes with a home button. However I suggest you check with the seller before buying just to make sure.

Lastly most of these sellers ship only to us or Europe. Try checking on eBay India and see if you can get it shipped to India...

For volume button, it involves more work as this is fixed onto the back cover... unless you need it really badly I suggest not to tamper with it!

Lastly none of these options are original apple accessories. They are all made for apple but not by apple. So if you follow any of these, you will most likely void any warranty you already have. So please do this cautiously and at your own risk.

Looking at the phone I fixed, the components are so good that I am not able tell from original and these. So they seem to be of good quality. Still my duty to warn you!

It's not fully compatible with iPhone, though you can make and receive calls through B & M. As far as i know, only Microsoft OS support reading message's, other's don't.

re: The iPhone Thread

Thanks. I guess I will need to go with a Windows Phone like Xolo X 900 or something as even Androids won't be able to read messages?

After a long time without anything from the app store, these are the two games I installed.

MIB3: I uninstalled in an hour!.. Damn, how did even get that much rating.

CSR Racing: A welcome game after a while. Still playing it.. Now tier 2 .. The game becomes more exciting as you proceed.

hehe.. I find it quite interesting. Nice time pass, specially when on chauffeur/shopping duty it's kinda like SimCity I guess.

re: The iPhone Thread

Fresh news from GSMArena.com.

Samsung has made record breaking sales in the last quarter, 50 million units shipped compared to Apple's 30.5 million. This has made Apple to pre-pone the launch of iPhone 5 (or whatever name it could be) to August, instead of the planned October release.

Lets see how the war heats up. Here are the details: Samsung break smartphone sales record in Q2 - GSMArena.com news

it works like a charm,if you just want to copy contacts, and make and recieve calls. It does not read messages, which i think is not that important.

re: The iPhone Thread

iPhone now available at Rs 9990 with Aircel only on postpaid. Seems that the status value of iPhone will decrease now, considering the fact that price is half by now.

Well, it's the two generations old 3GS. Not sure how the status value will decrease because of that (actually not sure if there is a status value attached to a specific phone) . I assume this plan will be attached to specific post paid plans with high rental, locked down for a minimum period.

Dont know where we can get this. I believe Apple stores wont sell this directly. It is most likely to be purchased in Aircel stores. I dont have any concrete info regarding this since i read the article in the aforementioned link. No other source for the info.
