I was at chennai over the weekend and had issues several times connecting to Airtel on 4G and 3G. I had to switch over to 2G and internet starts working an hour or so later.

Should I contact airtel once? I am paying for 4G/3G data.
Same here. 4G hardly worked twice or thrice on my 6S in the last one month. The response to my service ticket was installation of a new tower near the locations from where I raised the issue.

Hello Nicky,

This is exactly what I am unable to do.

Many times I am interrupted while writing a new SMS by an incoming SMS. When I try to go back to a half written SMS I see that it has disappeared. Is the draft not saved automatically.

Can I request you to post a screenshot of the screen you get when you go back to the half written SMS please.

Thanks a ton.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Updated my iPhone 5S to iOS 9.2.
Haven't observed anything worth commenting upon as yet.

OT: Mid 2014, After much heartache I switched from airtel to vodafone in chennai while I was there - vodafone 3G is outstanding in OMR / thiruvanmiyur / besant nagar and kotturpuram. Airtel 3G is simply not good enough.

Do consider that option.

Thanks.

It seems that if one write a new sms one must write the address first. Else it will go poof.

Thanks again.

Re: The iPhone Thread

iOS 9.3 should be out soon. Don't see a lot of value add. Looks like subsequent updates will all revolve around force touch; so iPhone 6 and below will face hardware limitations.

Look for a cheaper 3rd party service. The battery costs roughly 7-800 rupees, and for someone eho has the right tools, takes about 5 minutes to open up and replace

Check out battery replacement kits on eBay. For about 8-900 bucks you get all the tools+ battery. Might look tricky to open, but if you follow online instructions, it's easy to do DIY.

Ordered iPhone 5S 32gb for dad from Maple for 28k after exchanging his old Note 2. They don't have the phone in stock right now, but expected in 2-3 days. Didn't find the 32gb anywhere online for similar price.

iOS 9.3 beta 1 is out. Blue light reduction for night reading, 3D Touch for stock apps, News app enhancement, etc are some new features.
