You've contact your service provider, in this case Vodafone. They can disable it.

I have been using Amazon Basics MFI certified 6ft cable since past one year. Have had no issues at all.
There is only Rs 50 difference between 3 and 6 feet cable.
Highly recommended.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Oh I got that one, but strangely it stopped working after a month of use. How can a cable just stop working (scratching my head on this)?

Re: The iPhone Thread

Has anyone updated their iPhone to 12.3.1? I am currently running 12.3, but looks like phone has already downloaded (but not installed) the 12.3.1 update. Also, it seems that there is no way to stop downloading the updates. Turning off the 'automatic downloads' only disables the installation, not the download of update. It has taken up some good real estate on my 32 GB phone.

Thanks! I installed the update. It released around1.5GB of memory! Nothing noticeable about the update but good to get back the occupied memory.

Re: The iPhone Thread

I have asked every forum for an indestructible cable but looks like there is none for heavy users. The original costs 1500 and I got 4 bad ones already.

I don’t know what you’re doing with yours, but I’ve been using mine for well over two years, and apart from being a bit dirty, it works just like new.

Why are you using the OEM cable?

There are so many available on Amazon etc which claim to be indestructable, and at the very least will outlast your Apple cable.

For my iPhones, the first purchase I make are boAT charging cables available on Amazon India. The OEM cables are pathetic just like the older headphones iPods came with.
These cables are sturdy and abuse friendly.
I would highly recommend them.
