Samsung is also already out with a 8gig windows smartphone. the I310.

If you have the N91 though, I wouldnt recommend a switch just yet. I love the w950 the most but having an N91 lessens the advantage of upgrading to w950.

The audio is MUCH better than the n91,and if you're a power user, the phone comes with opera 8 as the default browser.
If you think you can get used to the UIQ operating system and dont mind the high price and lack of camera, i'd say its a pretty okay purchase.
There is no way, W950i is better than N91 in terms of audio performance. Quality is subjective but having listened to both the phones, i would say N91 has an advantage, also the full volume in Nokia is much louder than the W950i. The new N91 Music edition also supports A2DP profile just like the W950i, N91 besides having camera and WiFi as extra features, not to mention double the memory capacity also comes at a cheaper price.
Nokia also comes with the Opera browser, dunno which version. The ony thing that W950i has got better is the screen and the fact that it has 4GB flash memory as against hard disk in Nokia, but then you get double the memory space in Nokia.

Is there a new phone expected with similar features ??

And regarding the camera and the wi fi ..

The camera is one of the worst cameras ever made only the resolution is high.
I hardly use wi fi . It is a big pain to connect and i always have my laptop with me ..

An avid nokia fan this is the first time i am even considering a non nokia phone and i have changed my phone atleast 10 to 15 times ...

The n91 that i have is my second the first one my cousin took from me ...
So i am kind of bored of the s60 user interface and even the s40 3rd edition interface. So i dont think i will be getting the 8gb n91 as i am pretty happy with the 4gb one and the price doesnt justify upgrading for a few extra features. 4gb is more than enough for me. I still have 500mb free .

So please suggest me any non nokia phone with 4gb memory.

EDIT : I will not be selling my n91 just love that phone so i can switch back any time...

Me owns Motoming - super duper phone. touch screen. montavista linux, fast video and imaging, all apps start up fast. sometimes hangs or needs a reboot, but rare. bluetooth, 2mp camera, browser, imap email, radio, alarm, calendar, file manager, micro sd 512 mb card, real player, java, GPRS, quad band phone. worth all the 14k i paid for it. Iffff you forgive the battery usage, it does not come anything more than 2 days at any cost!

Sony Ericcson does supply better head phones with the phone... may be that the reason for better bass and all. The review on GSMARENA says the are very close, in terms of sound quality.

cooldude1988765- Either keep N91 for a loooong time or sell it right away. with the 8gig n91 in the picture your phone wont really fetch a good price. just my 2 cents.

As far as a new phone is concerned, If you are bored by n91 due to s60 interface then w950 (based on Symbian UIQ) is not the right choice. In this case you are looking to the samsung i310 which I doubt is available in India. In this case it seems w950 is the only option. Or else you can go ahead with the ROKR e2 and buy a cheaap 4gig sd card.

@geeksrik : check out MotorolaFans.com - Home . I used to have the motorola E680i which is axually hte predecessor to your phone. It was good while it lasted and got stolen.

Congrats!!

Have few queries:
1) How is it different from normal N73?
2) Whats the price?
3) Most of the advantages are known. Any disadvantage?
4) Did you consider N70 Music Edition?

Sorry for big list of queries. I am contemplating on N70ME/N73ME/W810i & W850i - need help.

I will be buying the phone in usa and the i 310 is $700 and i was not thinking of spending more than $600. I will be keeping the n91 for a really long time. I am never going to sell it in short.
I think phones with 4gb memory cards are really slow. My friend had a 4gb pro stick duo in his w810i and the phone was really slow...

Any other options (Please no motorola)

You will need a 900/1800 GSM phone for India. The phone with 850/1800/1900 would work on some of the networks that use the 1800 frequency (usually the 4th operators in all the circles) so you'd be better off with a 900/1800 phone which will allow you to use the other three operator's networks too.

850 and 1900 are american GSM frequencies - they simply HAVE to do everything different from the rest of the world that use 900/1800.
