Thanks. Yes, I agree. Wave's camera is a very good indeed. Infact I had a direct photo shootout between wave, N8(12 MP camera) and C7(8MP) camera. Wave produced the best results followed by N8. I was susprised but that is true. C7 was really bad not even worth 2 MP camera. It was mainly because of lack of auto focus camera.
Video quality of all 3 were good with Wave producing more crisp and sharper colors.

Yes i truly agree with your views with lot of surfing and reviews read for Wave 8500 & N8. Most of the reviews had Wave 8500 as best picture quality compared to N8. I myself have eye's on Wave 723 for the camera quality. One of my friend has it and i have done all the R&D on his cell, but also have a eye on LG Optimus One P500 both are for 12.5k. Currently confused so decided to wait for sometime now.

Edit: Had a Nokia N73 which use to click very nice pictures outdoor, but for indoors picture was grainy.
currently using Samsung star & Nokia E71 camera quality is not upto the mark.

http://www.badaforums.net/bada-news/...g-off-kies-v2/

Just installed the new version. Interface is neat. Hope this is a stable one. My earlier version was 1.5.x and you will have to do a fresh install as i wasnt shown any updates that was available

I have read on other forums that this version is as bad as earlier. Some people lost their downloaded apps from Kies completely. I'd advice to take a back-up of downloaded apps before upgrading to this version.

Just uninstalled Kies 1.5 and installed Kies 2.0. Looks good but it is still missing the features similar to nokia ovi suite to answer calls using the pc.

Re: Samsung "bada" OS thread - Tips, Tricks and Hacks

Guys,

Bought the Wave 723, for my wifey yesterday and she absolutely loves the phone. She has been a Nokia user all along and was pleasantly surprised at the simple and effective Bada OS UI.

She has a number of messages in her Nokia (6500 slide), which she wants to export to the Wave. Can anyone direct me how to get this done?

TIA.

I have Bought Wave723 4 days back, I am able to see videos from Youtube without any buffering seamlessly. Try to restart your phone and give it a try, if your able to use GPRS for surfing on your handset without any problem then check with your service provider.

Re: Samsung "bada" OS thread - Tips, Tricks and Hacks

Nopes! Restarting doesn't help. Actually I have a WAVE S8500 (Reliance GPRS) and WAVE 525 (Airtel GPRS). Doesn't work on wither of them.

Will check with the service provider.

Thanks.

Even I am using Airtel GPRS its working fine. Have you tried upgrading your firmware through kies (Download kies 2.0 if you do not have). or else you can PM Gandhi who has started this thread as he to uses Wave 8500.

I have Kies 2.0 installed. Tried upgrading but I get this error called '16mb additional space'.

Not sure about video downloader app. Wave 525 comes with bada 1.1 (the version for hand-sets with lower resolution screen and lower hardware spec). Haven't heard anything about if its upgradable or not.

This means that the internal memory of your phone is full. You were able to access internet perfectly fine before, right?

Go to settings and clear the internal memory from there (cookies, temp files, browsing history etc) and then try upgrading again.
