few freebies like i mentioned in my earlier post (body cover,mud flaps,cushions,teflon coating , carpet mats , number plates) were also there
so i suggest you can certainly haggle for more discounts

This would include 4,81,xxx ex-showroom + 48k for Registration + 14k for insurance + 6k extended warranty + 7k handling charges (& basic accessories). The current offer is in chennai - kivraj. No freebies what so ever, please let me know what else I can ask for to get a better price.

Was checking for a couple of quotes for Punto and Alto K10

Had been to Aadya motors yesterday to check out the latest offers on Punto.

Here it goes.

I) Punto 1.3 MJD Emotion (PREMIUM Color) - on road price - 738082

Breakup of price

Ex sh - 607643, ins - 22012, LTT - 94428, inc char - 5500, RSA - 3500, Ex warranty - 5000.

Discounts
1. Free insurance - 22012
2. Cash discount - 10000
3. Free RSA - 3500
4. Corp Discount - 7000

On road price after discounts - 695570.

Apart from these, a few freebies are thrown in like mats, sunfilm, idol ,etc.

50k is the dealer discount i am getting

the other discount i am referring to is basically the price cuts announced by Honda itself - so between the value of the price cut this dealer discount the ANHC VMT quote to me , OTR , was at 9.16

7k for "handling" seems to be bit high, is it negotiable?
Try to reduce this as much as possible and also get accessories equivalent for this value.
Also ask for the break up for the insurance calculations and satisfy yourself the numbers are correct.
How about other dealers in the chennai? Is the price consistent with all the dealers?
Since you have some time in your hand how about asking Maruti directly how the handling charges are justified to be paid by the customer and whether an official receipt will be given for this?
Most of the time the dealers pocket this money using several excuses including the manufacturer's name.

Yeap HC. The OTR is almost same (give or take 200 rs) across all dealers. As for the insurance, I can opt to take it from outside which will save me atleast 4-5k. Plus, I said I will opt out of extended warranty which will save me another 6k (plan to take it later). I have requested Maruti to look into 7k quoted for handling by the dealer. Hope this will be sorted out soon. What I am expected to pay will be ex-showroom + 10% for road tax which will work out to 528k + 10k insurance = 538k, a whooping 16k difference from what the dealer is quoting.

the dealer did offer this price but after lot of haggling

the price as per honda car site is certainly 8.70....... but they dealers in chandigarh and all of punjab are quoting prices in the same region

i am myself going to buy ANHC SMT next week which is 785000(insurance and registration included ) OTR already got it booked yesterday

try and speak to the dealer in chandigarh he should offer you initially little more but might come down based on how you negotiate

Any good deals for ANHC in Hyderabad this festive season?

The best I got was 8.93L for SMT at Pride Honda. The price includes HondaAssure insurance + road tax+ Handling charges. They are willing to throw 3M film and may be Teflon coating.

With slow sales in the preceding months and VW/Verna/Sunny I thought Honda would be a little more aggressive.

In mumbai OTR of the 1.3 90hp ep is 759,267 after all discounts including extended warranty and without corp discount.
