This maybe useful for some. This is what I got when I was looking for a car:

VW Jetta:
30,000 Rs Cash Discount
30,000 Rs Exchange Bonus
15,000 Corporate Discount
8,500 Rs Road Tax Benefit
20,000 Rs Discount on Insurance (on the listed price as per price list)

That makes it a whopping 90k. Very limited waiting period.

Thanks Vinit for your advice i have checked the cars VIN number its Jan 2014 Manufactured car and they have not used it for test drives.Its Odo reading is about 40 kms...

Ask for 1 lakh flat or at least 6 lakhs round off on road figure. There are scores of Puntos lying at the Ranjangaon yard and with the new model coming, Fiat and dealers are under pressure to clear stocks. Get multiple quotes and play the dealers against each other for better deals.

If you can wait for 2 months, this could go up. festive season discounts + Ciaz launch (hopefully) may put a lot more pressure on Hyundai.

The gold coin was an exclusive offer for just 2 days during mid month. I also got a good price for my MAY 2006 Swift Vxi.

I also flatly denied the basic accessories kit and autocard which they deducted from OTR. They provided basic floor mats and mudflaps free when I took delivery.
