re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

As per reports, the 2014 Honda Jazz will be unveiled in the month of September instead of October which is full 2 months ahead of schedule.

http://www.themotorreport.com.au/569...mber-unveiling

The report also says that Honda will launch Jazz in Japan in the month of September. This means that we can possibly expect India launch in January 2014.

I don't think so. That's a purposefully put styling element.

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

That rear end isn't exactly great but can't wait for Jan 2014 already. Exciting and this against the EcoSport (or any new mini-SUVs) will help me decide my next 4 wheeler.

Hope they put a strong diesel engine in it (assuming it will be the 1.5 from the Amaze [and is that powerful?]).

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

Keeping fingers crossed for this launch.

I am sure this time Honda will peg it against the commercial operation of their new plant in Rajasthan else they might again loose out on the initial interest of buyers due to long waiting period.

I am told that large number of cancellations have happened at various Honda Dealerships across India after the launch of Ecosport, if this is to be believed than its a direct loss to Honda just because of non-delivery of Amaze (waiting period).

It seems that selling cars is also like selling movies, wherein the hype is there for initial days and then usual routine business.

Honda dealers are back in their senses now and showing the usual good bahaviour insteading of throwing weight, which they did at the launch of Amaze. From the present sales of Amaze which might not show any upward trend, the new Honda plant might actually produce Jazz and cater to the high initial demand (provided they play the price bit right !)

So they are taking the battle to Toyota finally! Just hope they retain the brilliant interior packaging and those iconic magic seats. I beg the moderators pardon but could you point out the foul language used here please? By merely mentioning Honda taking the battle to Toyota, is abusive? Come on guys, give me a break. There are more offenders than me lurking around and they get spared for flimsy reasons! I never use short typos either.

Awaiting a response please. This is simply not done.

Thanks!

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

i think Honda should launch the fit shuttle with a third row along with the jazz and price it slightly above the ertiga, Honda would save in terms of production coasts because the shuttle is basically a stretched jazz

Sorry for the OT but GTO mate, that wasn't a hurtling remark, I merely used it in excitement! I strongly advise you to catch the tone of what we members are writing. We are well acquainted with the rules. Else, I wouldn't be posting this.

Thanks!

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

Jazz was my fave hatch, when I bought my Figo.
If it wasn't for the price, I probably would have picked it. I was very particular about my budget for my car.
Next year, i will be completing 3 years with my Figo, i might just upgrade next year. If this Jazz is priced sensibly, i might just pick it up.

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

Perhaps Honda should consider changing the name of this car when they launch it. A lot of people associate 'Jazz' with things like over-priced and flop inspite of it being a brilliant package. The 2014 Jazz seems to be an amazing (pardon the pun) car, it shouldn't start off on the wrong foot.

In these non distorted images it looks good. But somehow I prefer the dashboard of the current Jazz.

The above picture is the RS version.

The exterior design looks beautiful, love the design and lets just hope this is the final version that stays same even in India.

re: The 2015 Honda Jazz (3rd-gen)

The dash is looking clean but this is the Hybrid version. No pictures of the regular one out yet. Wait and see. However, one big give away is they have done away with the upper storage box on the left side.
